I met Red Skelton on the day in July of 1981 when I was flying out to Juneau Alaska for a once in a life Fishing trip. He was on the prop-driven plane we were to take to Milwaukee to get connecting flights. He cracked jokes all the way there and when he saw me, (I’m 6’3”), he cracked: “Look at this guy, he’s big enough to be his own state!”

W. Bush and assorted politicians in New Hampshire. The McCains were actually nice, as were most other pols. The only real jerk I ran into was John Sununu—the old man, not his son the former senator.

Richard Nixon,CIC back in the early 70’s while stationed in South Korea, 2nd Inf. Div.

Alexander Haig about the same time.

George Foreman, at the bank, was also a neighbor.

I met Bob Hope at the Sandwich Airport in Illinois on the same day Neil Armstrong landed on the moon.

. . . but that hardly holds water to October 25, 1976 at 3:45 p.m. when I met Jesus Christ for the first time when he became my personal Saviour!

Too many to count. I used to work in tinsel town and rubbed elbows with celebs all the time. The majority of celebs are really decent people, but a few are real turds. Kinda like the general population.

One little story — Sidney Portier once stopped a huge meeting to step into the hallway to chat with me. I think he did it to get the attention of the folks in the room, who were arguing at the top their lungs. He stood up and left the room and they all fell silent. You could have heard a pin drop while we were chatting.

Oh yeah — Cher is as much a bitch as you think she is.

Dr. Edward Teller.

I am not sure if “meet” is the right word but I did get to sit in the same room with him along with other students and ask questions which he would answer.

I did not get to ask any. I will say he was a fascinating speaker.

Many, many years ago I (young Blennos) was interviewed by a young Oprah Winfrey when she a novice roving reportorette in Baltimore. After her brush with the potent and mighty Blennos, her career soared. The rest is history.

I worked room service at a fancy hotel.

Met Oliver North - A kind and gracious man. I served him coffee by the pool as he met with a handler. He made eye contact and thanked me.

Tom and Roseanne Arnold - Roseanne was a doosh who threw food around the room and lived in squalor. Tom had the good sense to be embarrassed.

Sid Ceasar - He had odd dietary demands.

At this job I also saw my very first naked woman, a thing that would not happen again for several years. I saw the whole enchilada. It was awesome.
