My most famous or influential people include Red Skelton, B. B. King, Tim Allen at a party, and Tom Gale, The designer and collaborator with Bob Lutz on the Dodge Viper and variants.
Corrie ten Boom
Mitsuo Fuchida (Japanese commander who led the attack on Pearl Harbor, later became a Christian, amazing testimony)
Brother Andrew, God’s Smuggler
Got groped by Stein Erickson at a Deer Valley function when he was in his late 70s. My boyfriend introduced me to him, and he tried to cop a feel. Cocky, that one!
All jokes aside, what did you think when meeting Glenn Beck? No need to weigh your feelings. Be honest. And was this before or after he got a very big, heavy head and went off the deep end? He was once seen as a man who might lead this country through a dark valley. Sidetracked when the waters became too deep.
The most famous person I met was Danny D. Vito.
He wasn’t Danny DeVito. But just some guy who had a first name Danny and middle initial D. and last name of Vito.
*Steward should be Stewart

Met Andrew Breitbart same day I met Ann Coulter. He was fantastic. Couldn’t have been nicer. I didn’t know who he was and he came over and introduce himself. Really cool.
Not sure of the details but I am related to Admiral Byrd. Actually to a lot of the Byrd’s of Virginia.
I met all the members of Third World and spent a couple of hours with them after a concert in 1991 in Charleston, SC. I knew a former girlfriend of the bass player.
About a year ago I met Ramsey Lewis. Extreme professional and a true gentleman who doesn’t suffer fools lightly. Sat in for a sound check and then was with him while he listened to a combo play in a nearby classroom. The combo didn’t even play one bar before he stopped them and critiqued them. They tried again and again but he continually stopped them critical of their play. I don’t think they played more than a few bars before he asked them why he should be there if they were not prepared. He walked out, albeit politely.

“...almost killed Jay walking.”
You just jogged my memory on another anecdote.
As a young messenger driver in the mid seventies, I was once making an afternoon delivery in Century City, Los Angeles.
As I turned off of the main drag into the City, a man stepped off the curb right in front of my car. Through some miracle of reaction time and supernatural control, I stopped the car before killing him.
I’ll never forget the look of horror on that guy’s face. It was Alex Haley, the author of “Roots”.
He showed me his drivers and that’s what it was.
I shook hands, well, paws, with Lassie.
She gave me a photo with her paw print on it.
Had her phone number on the back with “Call me!”. Kind of freaked me out.
Victoria Principle, in the first year of Dallas TV show. She actually smiled at me and gave me a come hither look.
You know, I don’t think I’ve ever actually met anyone famous or influential at all!
