When it comes to love, Martina Paillant wont settle for someone who has a credit score below 700.
I need a man who has his life together and can pay his bills, the 22-year-old Canarsie, Brooklyn, resident tells The Post.
Paillant, who attends graduate school in Miami, asks potential suitors their credit scores by the fourth date. While some may call her snooty for checking someones FICO number before becoming Facebook official, shes been focused on her finances since she was 16 years old and has a credit score above 800.

As she, with the cold dead eyes of a shark, demands his credit score..... somewhere in eastern Europe or in a small town in Russia, or in Japan or Taiwan, some vision of beauty and femininity would sell her soul to have an American man to treat her with the kindness American men are world famous for.
Somewhere a Venezuelan beauty hopes she can find a slice of bread today. Go foreign and just be respectful and caring....
Skip the Ameriskanks young man......
“Seriously, what happened where men could not provide for their Women and Families?”
World War Two is what happened.
Prior to WW2 women stayed home. During WW2 women were encouraged to join the workforce while the men were away fighting the war. The women liked the independence and they liked having their own money. After the war a lot of women stayed in the workforce so their families had that much more money.
Eventually women integrated into the workforce.
Then supply and demand kicked in. Wages stagnated in the 1960’s and 1970’s as women were absorbed into the workforce even though the demand for labor was diminishing.
The end result is now a man and woman have to work to maybe earn what a man would have earned on his own in the 1930’s.
And now with men stepping back from the workforce and with the wages of men declining against those of women our society will be faced with women who can’t afford to leave the workforce to have a baby.
The result being demographic suicide...something the left has wanted all along.
Love is love, and business is business. And a marriage is a merger, and if you take on a "company" with high debt, and small revenue, you are setting yourself up for failure.
From the movie "Red Badge of Courage", after a battle, Arthur Hunnicut says:
"A woman, a dawg, and a walnut tree
The more you beat 'em, the better they be"
I don’t even think about my ex-wife any longer.
You can take the girl out of the trailer park, but you can’t take the trailer park out of the girl.
No vision, no self control,
That works great until the guy who “has a lot” decides that you’re not all that, and decides to trade up.
I have three daughters by her. I HAVE to think about her, at least to some extent. Fortunately they are all adults (29-35) but we have a wedding coming up...
She looks like she’s 14.
Was addressing the lady in the article, not you. :-)
And “oops” on the grammar bit. I’m usually better than that. :-/
No she isn’t. She simply wants to make sure the guy is responsible and can pay HIS way. I think it is a good metric.
Concur. They are physically mature but have never truly become adult.
I think if she had big student debt, her credit score would be <800.
Oh, when I read ‘lady’ I thought you were calling *me* a gold digger. I’m glad you explained that. ;-)
My comment was a bit snarky. So sorry. I'm usually better than that also! :-/
No worries, ladyjane. :-D
Huh?
Where are "virginity tests" required prior to marriage if there were such a test for an Ob/Gyn to administer in the first place which there isn't.

Happens in the Toronto Indian community as well.
It's 2016. No credit is bad credit. Unless you want to rent an apartment in the ghetto and drive a 15-year old hooptie rust-bucket, you pretty much need to have established credit these days.
I have said for years that women could change men for the better in this country (mainly when referring to single moms, etc...) if they wouldnt spread their legs for losers that already have children they cant pay to support.
I agree wholeheartedly with this. I'm always amazed at the number of loser dudes out there who somehow managed to find a woman who thought they were worthy of procreation.
