I know I have. Take care and God Bless all of my Free Republic friends.
Obama took out any “friends”.
Heck, I have utter contempt for half of America.
When my liberal friends called me a racist for opposing Obama they lost me. Some of them are no longer Obama lovers, but I lost all respect for them and refuse to interact with shallow minded numb skulls.
Mark Levin.
I don’t have any liberal friends.
I haven’t lost friends, but it’s actually affected dating. I don’t bring up politics, but the girls seem to ask, and I have no problem telling them where I stand. Great way to weed out the nuts, but sometimes disappointing at the same time.
As an aside, I’ve noticed political content conspicuously missing from LinkedIn. I bet they’ve recognized political disagreement could be disastrous to the goal of their site, which is to build professional networks.
None. Zero. Zilch.
None.
But some of them have lost me.
If you have, then they weren't friends to begin with................
Only here
Yep. Dumped a friend since 1968 who recently destroyed something of great personal value I had given her in the early 70s because I am campaigning for Trump.
If Trump loses, there is no reason to stay in the United States. I'm looking at Spain. Tons and tons of American ex pats in select cities and villages and you can actually live on your social security there.
My standard comment in the “real world”, when someone asks who I’m voting for is to say, “I’m buying more ammo.”
But in the real world, people know me. They know the whole person and not just my posts on an internet site. They get how I’m being both funny and serious and what I actually mean when I say that.
I’ve lost respect for a lot of folks here over this election. I’m not going to say why, though.
Yes, I have lost a friend. It baffles and saddens me. This friend understands Conservatism and what is at stake. I sincerely believe that there is a brainwashing effect from daily tuning in to some of the radio hosts.
“Mark Levin.”
Yup. That’s all that needs to be said.
ML epitomizes how this election has separated the wheat from the chaff.
Had dinner with a couple of high school buddies last night. One, a judge, is so fed up with the way Trump has been treated by the media and the political system he’s considering voting for him as a protest. And he’s been an MSNBC watcher. He’s on top of the drip, drip of Hillary’s criminality and now finds MSNBC’s bias intolerable. The other was non-committal. I’ve ruled out Hillary a long time ago. May vote Trump just to piss a lot of people off. At the rate we’re going, Hillary may be tagged for jail by November, at least in the voters’ minds.
My feelings exactly. A nice island somewhere.
Good one. For me it’s Michael Medved. I now see him as the pseudo conservative mouthpiece for the #uniparty. He’ll never get my respect back on this one.
“Liberal friends”
I have liberal acquaintances, but I snipped the cord with every liberal I once called ‘friend’, a long time ago.
I don’t discuss politics with liberal family members on Facebook anymore. Not worth the grief and hard feelings. Some relatives haven’t spoken to me since the 2008 election.
