Hillary Clinton, whom Manchin has endorsed for president, called the increase “outrageous.”

I wonder how much Hitlery got in kickbacks.

I read elsewhere that the CEO donated to Hillary’s foundation.

A two-dose package cost around $94 nine years ago. The cost averaged more than six times that in May
*************************

There is no way that cost of production increased anywhere near that.
This is gouging.
It is why medical costs are out of control.
Gouging is normal in the medical industry.

Thank God we have a Non Partisan Department of Justice to after theses FELONS/s

One would think that the mere Publishing of this Information, the DOJ would have already Arrested Every Executive in the Company and began Civil Asset Forfeiture, Hell maybe even get her Daddy Senator Manchin too.

$10 says he PROFITED off Insider Trading with regards to his Daughters Company.

You can buy these over the counter virtually anywhere in Europe for about $20 each.

it is blatantly illegal under 15 USC, with a ten year per count felony prison term, to attempt to monopolize, restrain trade or price-fix. Therefore it is only because of the explicit, intentional and outrageous conduct of your own government that you are getting raped like this on a literal daily basis, and this issue, as I’ve repeatedly pointed out is not limited to EpiPens — in fact, Mylan has raised prices on dozens of off-patent, generic medications by about the same 500% in the last few years and the only reason they get away with any of it is the above use of government force.

I wait to hear the company’s explanation for the cost increase. Has aderenaline increased in price? Has the dispenser increased in cost-to-produce?

Competition is the main way the capitalist system keeps prices down. Why aren’t there lots of competitors making a simple device to inject a generic drug? I take insulin with a simple “pen”. I will say that there are competing pens but all have high prices.

My grandson has a severe peanut allergy and this price hike will kill my daughter. She has to have pens in her purse, the car, at school and church for youth group. in his backpack for sports. And the pens expire so it’s not even a one-time expense. She has no choice but to buy them, he’s been in ambulances three times.

The government’s always butting in where they don’t belong then crickets when some crap like this goes down.

What they are charging these days for Epi-Pens is extortionate.

A two pack is $50 WITH the co-pay.

Without, it’s well over $200.

People’s lives depend on these things and it’s reprehensible that they are screwing a captive market.

Manchin’s daughter knows how to make a buck. Mylan, her drug company, got a law passed to require all schools to have Epipens…it’s for the childern. (Remember Jocelyn Elders, Bill’s Sturgeon General?) Now they are trying to get a law that all sports venues and other entertainment venues must have Epipens. That is a lot of money for an item that expires in a year and must be replaced. Greed under the guise of good only lasts until you get too overtly greedy.

Manchin spokesman Jonathan Kott said Wednesday the senator had no comment.

And how soon do you think that Rachael Madcow or Tingles Matthews, or even the cretins at the DUmp, have a comment?

I know that the topic was scrubbed unceremoniously from at least one liberal forum.

Instapundit posted a chart some time last week that showed the cost of various things compared to inflation over the last several years. Was a great chart - I forget the source but it would be nice to post it and discuss.

Most of the people who use EpiPen pay an insurance copay for them so they never notice the increase - it gets absorbed into the enormous black hole between the insurers and the providers. Let WalMart sell them and you will find out what they are actually worth on the open market.

Been hearing about the price all day but not the volume? Anyone know how many of these get bought? The press is saying they cost two bucks to make but I’m dubious, particularly if it’s low demand.

Make that the “future ex-Senator” form W. Va.

Glad the Dems don’t like money. They would be unbearable if they really wanted it.

I used to carry an EpiPen until I figured out what I’m severely allergic to, namely aspirin and NutraSweet. Not everyone figures it out, and not everyone survives analyphalatic shock three times (I have, most people don’t survive the third episode even with an EpiPen handy).

This b#### can GO TO H###..

In the last 30 days, two of my medications went up 290% and 66% respectively.

My co-pay for Lyrica increased from $27.50 to $108. Pfizer raised the cost of the drug, so my health care insurance provider raised the tier of the drug to increase my cost.

If that wasn't bad enough, the Humira I need to keep my Ankylosing Spondylitis at bay went from $1,800/mo. to $3,000/mo over the same 30 day period.

I wonder which Democrat Senator's child is responsible for this?!
