A lot I’m sure. All kidding aside this is a sick woman. I’ve worked in hospitals and nursing homes and I’ve people in their eighties and nineties who look substantially better than she does. But then those people are fed properly, are on medication and are given age and physically appropriate exercise. My guess is this woman doesn’t have any of that except maybe she’s on some kind of meds. Take a good look at her( I know it’s hard, ugh) her color is pallid, almost death like. She walks with what seems like some effort and seems to make a conscious effort to steady herself or at least be near a railing of some kind. As I’ve said, the change in her appearance over the last few years is quite shocking. She is not aging well at all.

You all should go to a ballroom dance. They have the air conditioning set to a very comfortable level. Out come all the shawls. The club president turns on the frickin’ heat. By the time the DJ plays the first song, it’s a sauna. The humidity makes the wood floor sticky, and it takes hours to get that junk off your shoe soles when you get home.

At my mother’s retirement home all the ladies are wearing sweaters right now — 95 outside, 80s in mamy of the rooms (most don’t turn on the AC).
