I donated a one-time donation to the Trump Campaign of $25.00 and my credit card shows I donated $100. I didn't donate a recurring amount and I certainly didn't donate $100.
I specifically typed in $25.00 and click "no" for recurring. and they charged my credit card $100. I didn't check my charges on my credit card until today and was shocked to find a $100 donation. The credit card representative told me she had another customer who had the same problem. Just a warning to all, be careful. I thought it odd, that I didn't receive an email thanking me for the contribution, but then I rarely make them to politicians.
Had I been more careful and read that before, I would not have donated.
Has anyone else had that problem?
Nope.
Nope.
Not sure, but I found an office selling Donald Trump campaign material, and bought a bunch of stuff at that office.
It seemed like the right thing to do.
Maybe someone else has an opinion of the charge. But Go Donald.
:D
Simple, dispute the charge with cc company.
You will “reap 100 fold”!!
Second, do you have your statement in hand, or are you looking at “pending charges” on your account online?
Maybe he’s using Hellary logic. Wirry abiut it after the election, or maybe you screwed up. I choose tge latter
Are you 100% sure it was a legit Trump website? I have had no problems, ever. Seems like something a Liberal would try to do to discredit Trump
I don’t see $25 as an option at the link you posted.
Are you logged in?
I had a suspicious call that claimed he was from some Trump campaign fund, but he sounded like a scammer to me, so I hung up on him. It wouldn’t surprise me if there were crooks trying to get some easy money and hurt his campaign at the same time.
No, and it may be the wrong organization.
I had a person calling me the other night who gave me a spiel about being from the Trump organization and wanting a contribution. I informed him that I would use the Trump web site. He became confused and did not want to accept that, but did say that it was part of the RNC.
It could also be that the default donation is check boxed at $100, but you put in 25.00 in a different area without clicking on the box next to the place you filled in “25.00.”
Card rep gonna get your dollars back ?
Like I said, I didn’t read that it was run in conjunction with the RNC, otherwise I wouldn’t have donated.
The credit card company is going to refund the $75.
I made mistake—I admit that!!
The only place you should donate to Donald J. Trump is http://donaldjtrump.com/.
Anybody can open a PAC in anybody’s name and start collecting money. The person you are donating to may never see a cent. There were all kinds of people making money off of Ben Carson.
I specifically typed in $25.00 and click “no” for recurring.

So you click on “Other” and type “25”? The recurring question is a single radio button that you leave unmarked if you want to make a single donation. There is no “no”.
I always get a confirming email. Are you sure you weren’t spoofed by some other “Trump” site?
“I dont see $25 as an option at the link you posted.”
Now that you mention it, there doesn’t seem to be one there.
Occams razor. What is most likely? You screwed up the online form or refreshed some page or screwed up somehow? OR Trumps campaign is overcharging donors?
Im voting you. And even more, im wondering if this is eve true or some sort of suppression game.
