The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at the Port of San Francisco destroyed numerous illegal containers imported into the U.S from China. These containers contained rat meat! The strange thing about this is the plan this rat meat to be sold as chicken meat. The idea was the nasty meat to be shipped to different points in several states, and to be sold as chicken.
The FDA states that there is a possibility of another 300,000 lbs. of this meat being offered in groceries and restaurants across the U.S. The FDA inspector, Ronal Jones, claims that if cooked completely, this meat is not dangerous.

Also, are all comments under review these days or is it just mine because the other day I said that it looked like Trump wanted Hillary to win with some of his stupid comments.
Seems like it would be ‘bony’...............
Let the liberals eat them.
Few will take note that it is a fake/hoax article. And I bet it gets re-posted at least twice in the next week. : )
Chicken I purchase says it was born, raised, processed in USA...I am hoping it is safe :(
Who is behind “Hoax Slayer” website?
Why are you using SNOPES?
Only got the back legs and fore legs on a stick. Just like a squirrel here in the US. I made a squirrel casserole for the gun club in my town as well as a squirrel chile. People tore into it! When I told them what they were eating I had a guy say “I wouldn’t eat ICE CREAM if you brought it in here!!”
Accentuating my disdane for “oriental” food. Catch a bunch of tiny fish that I wouldnt use for bait and make a stew with all the guts and everything.
NO THANKS!
What do you do when you bite into the innards? Just suck out the juice like a mudbug in your gumbo?
Give me a grain fed beef steak and some potatoes, please. Hold the e coli.

The filters for the entire ocean? Um, no.
I had an uncle that had me eating all manner of critters and organ meat, but I had to draw the line at mule deer brains and scrambled eggs for breakfast.
(...shudders...)
I will eat oysters fried, stewed, or even baked in Turkey Dressing, but NEVER RAW......................
Well, squirrels and rats both are rodents, aren’t they?
In the ‘50s, I ate squirrel when Dad hunted them. Poor country preachers gotta do what they gotta do to feed the family, ‘y’know.
Pretty sure I don’t want to eat rat, though. It’s psychological.
I have to count my ‘refined American’ pallet as a blessing.
I know that I could and would eat almost anything if I was hungry enough. Thank GOD I am not.
I have eaten, besides beef, fowl and common seafoods, squirrel, rabbit, deer, armadillo, octopus, squid, snails, alligator, various insects, and probably other things I can’t remember.
Put enough garlic, onions, spices, peppers and butter on just about anything and it will be palatable..................
>This story, yet again, reinforces why I personally only eat Spotted Owl that I compassionately slaughter myself...
Especially after a long day logging in old-growth forests. Talk about working up an appetite!
When I was in the Peace Corps in Thailand (’77 - ‘79), the government promoted the eating of field rats. Saw quite a few grilled rats for sale here and there.
