More than 70 Republicans have signed an open letter to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus urging him to stop spending any money to help Donald Trump win in November and shift those contributions to Senate and House races.
The letter comes as a number of Republican senators and high-profile GOP national security officials have come forward saying they cannot vote for Trump.
We believe that Donald Trumps divisiveness, recklessness, incompetence, and record-breaking unpopularity risk turning this election into a Democratic landslide, and only the immediate shift of all available RNC resources to vulnerable Senate and House races will prevent the GOP from drowning with a Trump-emblazoned anchor around its neck, states a draft of the letter obtained by POLITICO. This should not be a difficult decision, as Donald Trumps chances of being elected president are evaporating by the day....
Republican Andrew Weinstein, a vocal anti-Trump Republican, is one of the operatives organizing the letter, which began circulating earlier this week and is expected to be sent next week.

I kinda know what I’m going to write on the next letter I get from the RNC begging me for money but I won’t repeat it here, since I don’t want to get banned.
This really effin’ effin’ effin’ sucks. Damn Republican Party screwing this up.
By the way, anyone remember how POLITICO had to run their stories by the DNC and/or the Hitlery campaign before publishing?
Anyway, here are some of the Republican hacks who think they know better than the voters:
Former Sen. Gordon Humphrey of New Hampshire and former Reps. Chris Shays of Connecticut, Tom Coleman of Missouri and Vin Weber of Minnesota are among the Republicans lending their name to the letter.
Close to 20 of the co-signers are former RNC staffers, including Mindy Finn (former RNC chief digital strategist), Christine Iverson Gunderson (former RNC press secretary), Virginia Hume Onufer (former RNC deputy press secretary), Beth Miller (former RNC field communications division director), Heather Layman (former deputy press secretary), B. Jay Cooper (former RNC communications director under four chairmen) and Patrick Ruffini (former RNC ecampaign director). In the FIRST place: Trump is running this election ON HIS OWN MONEY!!!
The money these idiots are talking about is the money that Paul Ryan and others that are running for re election this year...Trump as the Head of the Republican party is raising money for them!!! So if they want to cut their noses off to spite their faces, let them, who cares what they want to do...stupid idiots is what they are...
Trump said when asked: “Are you going to continue to self fund this next part of your campaign?” “Yes “ he said he was, and also said: “I will be raising money for the RNC to use for people on the ‘down ticket’ for their re elections”...DUH!!!
Once Trump wins, he needs to clean house at the whole RNC starting with Reince.
Reince Priebus should yank these people’s membership to the GOP and ban them for life!
....and record-breaking unpopularity......states a draft of the letter.
A draft is a document written but not sent. Anyone could have written the draft. Judging by the hyperbole and untruths it could well have been Politico, manufacturing a story.
Trump is raising his own money, maybe he should stop doing fundraisers for the RNC
Once Trump wins, he needs to clean house at the whole RNC starting with Reince.

These Republicans think they exist to be a minority party and get a share of the pork.
They dont want to oppose. They want to be loved. And they want to send out those fundraising letters saying help,me oppose the Obama agenda when they have no intention of doing so.
It’s a Scam that needs to be exposed.

Every person on that list is a disgrace who should commit seppuku at once.
Wow! Dozens. Trump gets thousands at his rallies, sometimes twice a day.
What are those squares at the end of your post ?
All 70 of these scumbags should be swinging from 70 different ropes.
‘eff the lot of them.
Haha...70 GOPe sore losers want to destroy the Republican Party. They think they rule their little corner of the world, and they are wrong.
15 MILLION REPUBLICANS BEG TO DIFFER!
Pathetic, pillow biting, vermin. Why don't they just off themselves?
Darwin award contenders - all 70+ of them.
Are the more than 70 GOPe RINOs?
Trump will defeat ISIS and get rid of RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM, secure our borders and fix illegal immigration, repeal and replace Obamacare, rebuild the military and refocus the Veterans Administration to serve our nations veterans.
Are those 70 RINOs supporting economic stagnation, military weakness, open borders for potential terrorists, continued energy dependence, and continued eroding of our culture?
Why are those 70 RINOs joining every single news outlet dedicated to hysterically denouncing Trump, every minute of every day, while cooing at Hillary.
Everything Hillary has ever touched has failed, been engulfed in scandal, resulted in massive investigations, litigation, financial ruin, prison or death.
The final stage of any Hillary enterprise is a grand announcement that Hillary did not technically break the law. Or no one can prove she did. Or, even if she did, no one ever gets prosecuted for it.
Looks like a no brainer to me, but not for those 70 traitors to their constituents and the Grand Old Party.
Let’s have an accounting of these traitors. Who are they (all of them)? What are their Congressional districts?
