Christopher Walken likes to watch.
If that gives you the willies, youre probably thinking of the Oscar-winning actors more unsettling roleshes played sadists, murderers, madmen, mobsters, mercenaries, psychopaths, evil masterminds and extremely messed-up Vietnam vets in the course of a career that began in the early 1950s.
I have played a lot of villains, he admits.
But what Walken likes to watch is just outside the windows of his home in rural Connecticut, on the cusp of a nature preserve, where hes lived with his wife, Georgianne, a Hollywood casting director, for nearly 40 years.
There were four deer in the driveway this morning, he says. There were turkeys here yesterday. My wife saw a snake in the driveway the other day. Hummingbirds come every day almost to the minute. They come right up the window and stare at me. Its almost as though they know Im there.

I always thought most my sisters and brothers would be dead by now. I’ll be 60 this year, my oldest sister was murdered by her husband and my oldest brother died from stomach and pancreas cancer after drinking too much.
I’m the youngest of 8 but so now there are 6 of us left, and we are all kicking like we’ll be alive in our 90s.
I know, right? Walken's dad was German and his mother was born in Scotland. Walken and Trump are practically twins!
I read the Parade article. Loved it when he said if there was reincarnation he would like to come back as one of their many cats - they get treated so well. He said he and his wife of forty years see their cats as their children.
Oh, sorry about the downer post.
My Brother-in-law and his wife live in Big Bear where they
have a thriving plumbing business. Bryan and I figure that
we will probably join them one day to at least keep a tiny
part of our families together. My BIL’s name is Chris, wife
is Glenda, and they have several children. The kids will be
inheriting the Plumbing business one day, I’m sure.
Thank you, my dear friend. I’m pretty sure that they are
already with G-d as it is. I’m not far behind them, so I
am looking forward to seeing all my cats and my dog
again at the Rainbow Bridge.
Assuming I get past the part where Jesus forgives all
my sins right in front of Father G-d. That might {cough}
take quite a while...
I hope that you’ll not think me selfish if I wish that the day you rejoin your furbabies is long in coming.
Gifted dancer, as well as a great actor!!
“I love him as The Continental.
Oh yes, me too! That was the only decent sketch on SNL for a long time.
Here is a great little mashup of him dancing in a million things.
Put together by the Huffington Post of all things.
