Donald Trump on Monday dismissed as a 'joke' claims by Hillary Clinton's campaign that Russia is trying to help Trump by leaking thousands of emails from the Democratic National Committee.
'The new joke in town is that Russia leaked the disastrous DNC e-mails, which should have never been written (stupid), because Putin likes me,' Trump wrote as part of a series of Tweets. 'Hillary was involved in the e-mail scandal because she is the only one with judgement (sic) so bad that such a thing could have happened.'
The hacking enraged die-hard Sanders supporters who have long claimed that the DNC had its finger on the scale throughout the primaries.
The disclosures prompted the resignation of DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on the eve of the party's convention in Philadelphia, where Clinton is expected to officially accept the nomination for president.
It wasn't immediately clear how WikiLeaks received copies of the internal Democratic emails, though a hacker who calls himself 'Guccifer 2.0' has taken credit for passing the DNC's documents along.
Among them, one exchange shows DNC Chief Financial Officer Brad Marshall floating the idea that Sanders religious beliefs, or lack thereof, could boost Clinton's standing in Kentucky and West Virginia.

The cat's out of the bag. The released emails and those that will be coming have already been copied and placed in the hands of several sympathetic parties who will release them all the same.
Wikileaks, Guccifer and others can have the FBI chasing it's collective tail for months on end.
Isn’t ‘Guccifer 2.0’ supposed to be located in a nation that the Clintons practiced genocide on in the 90s? This might be some small payback for all those live lost.
Thank God the FBI is on the case. Life sentences for all involved, with Lynch and Obama calling for death penalties. We must have justice or the public will lose faith in the FBI. Is there a chance we can induce Comey to leave his money-filled bathtub for one more case?

Releasing DNC emails is a criminal offense, destroying US government emails and stealing classified information - is not.
The FBI has to plug these leaks so they can help the Clintons you know.

The State Department released the emails as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request.
Donald Trump is bringing about regime change via the election process. He doesn’t need Vlad’s help. Hillary brought about regime change in Libya by murdering Moamar Gadaffi. It’s what she knows to do. Was Vlad mad at the uranium deal that Bill and Hillary piped through their international RICO organization? Did Barry not give enough flexibility to Putin after the election, thus Putin takes it out on Hillary via Assange and, by a convoluted extension, Trump? The FBI will get to the bottom of all of this....trust them.
