GREELEY, CO (KTRK) -- A waitress, who was apparently upset that a customer didn't leave a tip, has been fired after she allegedly took to social media to vent her frustration earlier this month.
Megan Olson, who goes by the handle "megatron" on Twitter, is accused of tweeting, "If we had a real life purge I would kill as many Mexicans as I could in one night."
Several residents posted copies of the tweet on Texas Roadhouse - Greeley's Facebook page.
One message read: "A violent and racist employee is very bad for business. Please send her packin'."
That's exactly what management did.

Mexican isn’t a race.
megan isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
Another social media moron.
Good for Texas Roadhouse. I have never eaten there but might have to soon.
What is the racial profile of those who leave little or no tips for waiters?
Paco, Pancho, and Rigo must not have left a tip for her?
Megan may be too dumb to be a waitress.
Canadians
Workers I have known said black people don’t tip and are the most troublesome customers.
Speaking as a 55 year old, I am SO glad we didn’t have FB and Twitter way back when.
I would expect that most Freepers are ornery and middle aged in order to be frequent posters so we probably have a limited idea of the crap she has to go through. What would it have been like for us o grow up in a world where illegal aliens lord it over you, spending your tax dollars to pay for the food, and then they don’t tip you?
A lot of posts on this thread are going all country-club, GOPe on this woman. The illegal aliens shouldn’t be here in the first place so you would think that these invaders would have enough grace to tile her with her own money that the government stole from her and gave to them.
I suppose in WW II a lot of you would have savaged a French woman for hating the Nazis that infested the Paris restaurants for not tipping?
Cognitive dissonance is quite the phenomenon.
LOL... are they that good? Anything else good?
Stupid. She may feel this way but putting on social media is not a good idea.
Pretty much everything is good. They run a lot of specials too, so you can often get a delicious meal at a reasonable price. They also support the Navy Seal Foundation.
Yes, they are. Even on a Monday night, the restaurant is packed.
Mexicans also do not have a high percentage tip rate.
It seems to be packed every night here. And you can get a take home box filled with rolls if you want.
I’ve seen that first hand.
Large groups are the worst and I have seen waitresses reduced to tears by the abuse. The complaints about anything and looking for freebies were often.
The worst groups were black women. Just vicious. Managers were always getting involved as they would complain endlessly.
A club I used to frequent had the same problem but far worse. For some reason a large black professional group started going to this club right about when it would open and stay for a few hours. These were professional people and I think they gathered not long after work hours.
There were at least two hundred of them there at a time.
I knew the three bartenders quite well and they all said basically, the three of them worked for free when that group came in. They just didn’t tip. Or if there were tips it would be pocket change from the purchase of a drink.
I have no idea where this comes from but its true.
Same club would also attract any number of professional sports players on Boston teams. The man of the three bartenders I knew had to chase down a couple of players with the Boston Celtics after they just walked out on a check.
The guy said it happened more than a few times, The players claimed they thought everything was being comped for them. - and on top of it - a terrible tip would follow.
