Engineers were able to repair the part and the flight was able to continue as normal after the delay.

Airlines should note the latest “oops, I thought it was the overhead baggage compartment” excuse.
Confucius say: “Man who go through airport turnstile sideways is going to Bangkok.”
LOL!
As an X aviator....Its an over head not a ceiling.
Ceilings are altitude
Thats funny.thought I heard em all
OOOOOOOOOOOPS!
Maybe he was looking for pokemon ?
But all airlines are trying to lower their overhead, just like any business would
LOL! Gotta catch 'em all! :)
I”m sorry but that guy was a complete moron. I’d kick him off the plane.
He probably boarded fully “lubed”. “Hanybody coulda made that mishtake (hic)”.
A male crew member was able to get the thing to latch. I was thinking at the time, "This is starting off well."
Then, in Zurich, when they opened the door to the jet way, the slide deployed.
I think it was a TWA 767.
Mongo Sorry!
This is what passes for news?
I once opened to overhead bin on Air France to stow my briefcase, and the bin door fell off its hinges.
The Paris ground maintenanance came aboard, -2 minutes and 2 srips of duct tape later, we were good to go.
