n second grade, California students will learn about families with two moms or two dads. Two years later, while studying how immigrants have shaped the Golden State, they will hear how New York native Harvey Milk became a pioneering gay politician in San Francisco.
The State Board of Education unanimously approved those changes in classroom instruction Thursday to comply with the nation's first law requiring public schools to include prominent gay Americans and LGBT rights milestones in history classes.
The updates are part of a broader overhaul of California's history and social science curriculum. During four hours of public testimony, dozens of speakers criticized the way the framework discusses Muslims, Hindus, Jews and Japan's use of "comfort women" during World War II, but no one objected to the inclusion of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights.
Allyson Chiu, who just finished 11th grade at Cupertino High School, said the revisions would make LGBT students more comfortable. She and seven others spoke in favor of how the guidelines address gay issues.

And there’s Lemmiwinks.
Thank you for this post.
People don’t understand that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” and how our sexual being is a part of all that. It isn’t mere physical recreation and pleasure. It isn’t cheap entertainment. It’s something much deeper.
Move the patriots to Texas. Someday, we will take it back. But right now it is not in the cards. I'm just glad to see Ronald Reagan didn't live to have to see this f*ck-up of a once wonderful state (the finest in the union, imho in 1965) go down the road to hell in a hand basket.
Sad.
Which must have been particularly entertaining once he started taking pictures.
(I can’t unsee that image, so why should you guys be left out?)
And the “something much deeper” ain’t buggering another dude’s back door.
Wonder if it will include the story of Lot and the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.

They may teach the part about Lot’s daughters getting Lot drunk, so drunk that he passed out, then the daughters had sexual intercourse with him and both daughters got pregnant as a result of that.
Of course they would teach the kids that that method was perfectly acceptable.
The LGBT bunch is 3% of the country. They wouldn’t be jack if normal people in droves hadn’t supported them in huge numbers.
At the time, the normal people could not see how letting two gays marry would affect their lives. We told them that it doesn’t stop there - rather they will be coming for our kids. They claimed we were full of shiite.
Now they’re coming for our kids, first with letting pervs into girls shower rooms in junior high, and now into their classrooms.
We warned them...they didn’t listen...now it’s too late.
Indeed the LGBT tribe minds are messed up not only about sex but many issues like the cannibal tribes are hey the rest of the tribe does it so it must be ok logic.

The “moderate” Dems, yeah, you’re exactly right. They’re the ones who believe everything the neo-Marxists tell them, and then conveniently forget our warnings about where it’s going to lead.
Then there’s the leftist elite, who are the ones driving the agenda. They’re the ones who are fomenting chaos so that they may bring their own order over society, in so doing seizing all of the power.
They’re the ones responsible for mainstreaming perversion like so:
