Here’s something to worry about...More refugees coming out of Turkey.

Here's something a lot bigger to worry about.
At the Incirlik US Air Base, there are around 60 gravity nuclear bombs.
I haven't determined how many US personnel are on hand protecting them.

Is this not the best “Rage Day” ever?

It's turning out better than I expected.

Listen to CNN if you can bear it. Mouthpieces of simple reductionism: military coup bad - trying to picture Erdogan as a man of the people. Lol

rt.com is better, they are more neutral (although I think we all know which side Putin is on)

When these guys flee in their private jets, I wonder WHERE do they go? Who would want them?

Oh no, I just thought of one person who lives in a White house...

I won’t miss the sorry SOB. Turkey used to be secular and a decent NATO partner.

If you really want a coup, move to Zimbabwe or someplace where they actually have them. Good freaking luck, you absolute tool.

Don't bust a capillary, just learn history, and perhaps you may realize that there are worse things than serious resistance against arbitrary illegal rule.

Like destroying the Constitution for starters. That happens regularly in your admired countries of choice.

Ever hear of the well known coup in North America in the latter part of the 18th Century?

A coup will lead to a dictatorship. If you can only win by force, then you can’t turn around and stand for election. Otherwise you would have just gotten elected in the first place.
Of course, dissenters must be supressed also.
There’s very little “America” in that.
And what generals do you trust enough to put on the junta that dictates our lives? I can’t think of a single one.
No thanks to the childlike life of a military base for the entire nation.

Asinine. And who would you have the US Military coup install as our leader? Would they just carry on as normal, or would they rule by decree?

“Oh, and his own Dem party, equally corrupt as Obama and without any moral fiber or true love of country.”

Can I mark you as in favor of declaring the democrat party as a seditious organization, followed by the arrest of the entire democrat leadership?

Hate to burst your bubble but we live in a dictatorship now.

What are elections worth when the vast majority of the voters are ignorant blathering morons?
Ever question a typical voter about anything beyond perversions, rap music, gay TV series and now Pokémon zombies...?

Force is not the only form of force to effect a coup. Take BLM intimidation and mindless violence, for starters...

Yeah, advocating that is kinda frowned upon. There are even laws against that sorta thing.

Sounds like SOP for the last few years, in case you haven't noticed. That is an accurate description of the US for the last 7 years.

CNN has a guy on now, who is giving some facts about the Turkish constitution and Erdogen pro-Islamic activities -- it was just a matter of time until these generals took action, they are upholding the constitution of Turkey.

Recall Honduras, where SoS Clinton and Obama were obviously on the wrong side of the Honduran constitution.

At any rate, one person on CNN points out that this coup is not revolutionary by nature, it aims to uphold the order established in the Turkish constitution.
