Pluto isn't quite as lonely as scientists had thought.
Astronomers have discovered another dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, the ring of icy objects beyond Neptune. But this newfound world, dubbed 2015 RR245, is much more distant than Pluto, orbiting the sun once every 700 Earth years, scientists said. (Pluto completes one lap around the sun every 248 Earth years.)
"The icy worlds beyond Neptune trace how the giant planets formed and then moved out from the sun," discovery team member Michele Bannister, of the University of Victoria in British Columbia, said in a statement. "They let us piece together the history of our solar system."

The exact size of 2015 RR245 is not yet known, but the researchers think it's about 435 miles (700 kilometers) wide. Pluto is the largest resident of the Kuiper Belt, with a diameter of 1,474 miles (2,371 km).
The research team first spotted 2015 RR245 in February of this year, while poring over images that the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope in Hawaii took in September 2015 as part of the ongoing Outer Solar System Origins Survey (OSSOS).
"There it was on the screen this dot of light moving so slowly that it had to be at least twice as far as Neptune from the sun," Bannister said.

W000T !!! :)
Hair has been cut. Then I went to The Salvation Army and found some things. A bright pink raincoat, a cashmere blouse (with a thread card attached for mending), a sky-blue knit dress for summer, a t-shirt with a snake (for Pat), a dark-red satin dress that’s only a little big for Kathleen, a gray cardigan (for Elen, so she’ll stop wearing mine).
I’m moving to the “do I care?” apathy phase.
Take my electonic gadgets - please!

The combo pack of 4 is more spensive because the Chinese sweatshop workers who are packing them keep making mistakes and putting in 2 blacks which means more returns.
That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.
I’m just curious how the snake was made into the T-shirt? Was it the collar? The bottom hem? Maybe a side seam?
Mayhap some cold weather is approaching.
By Saturday the high will be 38.
By Thursday it will be 25.
Time to dust off the jacket.
Oh, that sounds like so much fun! I keep threatening to go to the thrift store, but there are too many other things that I need to buy before I can just buy stuff I want, like at the thrift store.
But it sounds like all your finds were awesome!
I managed to get an entry done in my journal and now my fingers are tired, so I’m going to go take something for pain, and then head for the bedroom.
Tonight, I start on Revelations, and it’s taken me almost a year to get through the entire Bible, reading 3-4 pages a night. Some of it is still a little confusing, but when I have finished the last page, I’ll start back at Genesis.
And so dear pipples, I need to close. Hope y’all have a good night!
Sigh. The snake was just printed.
However, the blue dress had a tag on it saying it was hand-painted (butterflies) and first-price was $64.
You have to catch them just coming out of the egg to get them to imprint properly.
Even then, they’re just pretending to like you until your guard is down.
Go ahead.
Well it works, but you get notalwaysAccu(rate)Weather’s ads too..
What a beautiful creature. Notice how he posed for photos. :D
Thanks for that, great to see family pics.
Oh, my goodness! I WANT that little floof ball! Squee!
She will keep you safe in a dangerous world.
The dress sounds beautiful!
Not so much the snake shirt. I’ll let Pat keep that.
That is the cutest little kitten I’ve seen in ages. I’d have to pack that little thing with me everywhere I went.
