Nah. It was to come up with a plan of action against the Minion who thinks she can make up the rules as she goes along. Zeke wants 30 people (+ or -) to show up to this coming meeting and just vote “NO!” on whether to install a new resident council.
Works for me! So I will run it by Charlie today, and Zeke will run it by Bob, and we’ll make it happen.

DP is going to take some kids to the gym in a little while. I’m cleaning. Pat is going to go up to the attic and get the Advent wreath down. I’m not feeling spry enough for the steps.

With this warm fall, there are plenty of mice.
Walmart was as empty as usual, this morning, and I was happy about that. I didn’t have much to get, but I did it in a hurry. I wanted to get some beer, but thought I’d wait until I saw how much I had left after I got the food I needed. Maybe I’ll go later and get something from Smith’s.
Aw, dang...I’m sick of Fidel Castro already. The talking heads are doing what they do best: blathering. It’s ugly. And PBS is doing their fund drive, so it looks like I got the DVD player hooked up just in time! Now I will have to find some movies to watch. (Maybe I’ll do a Hobbit marathon today...)
I need to get to the thrift store and find another DVD/CD album, as I have so many movies in their cases. If they are out, and my daughter comes over, she will want to borrow them. NO! She doesn’t visit often enough to make that even a remote possibility. She didn’t even text me a “Happy Thanksgiving.” I never know from one day to the next if she’s alive or dead.
There is a shortage of owls here, so owling is owt.
Fidel Castro supposedly died late last night / sometime early this morning.

I was out with the peeps and when I came in, I was too hungry and cold to go search for an adult beverage. I’ll do it in the morning.
I made a roast beast and baby Swiss “slider” and that plus a slice of pie filled the maw. (Those little dinner rolls make a perfect mini-sandwich. Now, I need to go see if I can find clothes to wear tomorrow, on the off-chance that I get to church.
The wind wasn’t as bead as it has been, and it’s coming out of the south, so the day is fairly nice.
I don’t think Cuba knows how to party since Castro took over, but I can’t help but think again about Elian Gonzales. I felt so bad for that little boy. Now that he’s a grown man, I wonder what his thoughts are on the entire episode?
Since Fidel is out of the way and Raul can’t last too much longer, Bernie should high-tail it for Cuba and fill the gap, so to speak. He won’t have to transform the country - it’s had like 60 years of transforming already. With the usual outcome..
He’ll probably need to learn Spanish though..
