Pluto isn't quite as lonely as scientists had thought.
Astronomers have discovered another dwarf planet in the Kuiper Belt, the ring of icy objects beyond Neptune. But this newfound world, dubbed 2015 RR245, is much more distant than Pluto, orbiting the sun once every 700 Earth years, scientists said. (Pluto completes one lap around the sun every 248 Earth years.)
"The icy worlds beyond Neptune trace how the giant planets formed and then moved out from the sun," discovery team member Michele Bannister, of the University of Victoria in British Columbia, said in a statement. "They let us piece together the history of our solar system."
...
The exact size of 2015 RR245 is not yet known, but the researchers think it's about 435 miles (700 kilometers) wide. Pluto is the largest resident of the Kuiper Belt, with a diameter of 1,474 miles (2,371 km).
The research team first spotted 2015 RR245 in February of this year, while poring over images that the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope in Hawaii took in September 2015 as part of the ongoing Outer Solar System Origins Survey (OSSOS).
"There it was on the screen this dot of light moving so slowly that it had to be at least twice as far as Neptune from the sun," Bannister said.

I am back from the Walmart that’s far, far away. Surprisingly enough, my parking spot was still empty!
The actual time for pick-up for the printer was after 1000 to 2200, but the guy was nice enough to let me have the thing anyway. Nice guy!
When the peeps and I were outside yesterday, we were watching one of the neighbors move from a studio into a one-bedroom, and as she and her daughter came out from cleaning the place, she told us that overnight, someone stole the two small American flags she had on the patio fence.
As I was waling to the back of Wally’s to the pick-up area, I saw an American flag display, and grabbed a couple of small ones. Keep in mind, now, this woman does NOT like me. I took the flags over this morning and put them on one of her patio chairs. I don’t think she heard or saw me, but that’s OK.
I had to carefully dump the printer out of the box (the molded Styrofoam holds the things in tightly) just so I could find the instructions. And what falls out: a booklet that says, “FIRST, unpack.” Whoa! Scary!
Pat has a tendency to disappear if I remember from previous visits. He knows where he is but you don’t, so therefore, he is lost.
Of course. There is nothing new under the sun.
Yes, Pat-vanishing is a time-honored amusement. He was slithering about the place with a math book.
WALKING! *sheesh*
Of course he was. Does he still wear his Cloak of Invisibility?
WAH...and you took the 666 post with that! *e-vil laughter*

If we are caught doing either it is very expensive.(£60-100s)

I see you have the D’sheare edition Barister.
Then I have to win the lotto, and hire a limo. Coffee comes first.
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease my mother has gone to her rest. Her memory is new again and any tears her memories might still be causing her are being wiped away.
I thought you all would like to know. Since she’s been essentially gone for a couple of years now I’m doing OK, but I reserve the right for that to change.
Hahahaha! Good to see you, SJB, you’ve been missed! *hug*
Bro......
Don’t copy insurance cards. Save the PDF to your phone.
It’s just as useful and harder to lose.
Unless you just want to send 1 million copies to Al Gore as an act of defiance. I support that 100%.
Don’t drink and drive.
You might spill the drink.
I’m very sorry about your loss. It’s been nearly two years since my father died from complications of Alzheimer’s, so I know what you mean about having felt the loss long before he actually died. However, if you decide you need to not be OK, I support you!
HUGZ backatcha!
