I am back from the Walmart that’s far, far away. Surprisingly enough, my parking spot was still empty!

The actual time for pick-up for the printer was after 1000 to 2200, but the guy was nice enough to let me have the thing anyway. Nice guy!

When the peeps and I were outside yesterday, we were watching one of the neighbors move from a studio into a one-bedroom, and as she and her daughter came out from cleaning the place, she told us that overnight, someone stole the two small American flags she had on the patio fence.

As I was waling to the back of Wally’s to the pick-up area, I saw an American flag display, and grabbed a couple of small ones. Keep in mind, now, this woman does NOT like me. I took the flags over this morning and put them on one of her patio chairs. I don’t think she heard or saw me, but that’s OK.

I had to carefully dump the printer out of the box (the molded Styrofoam holds the things in tightly) just so I could find the instructions. And what falls out: a booklet that says, “FIRST, unpack.” Whoa! Scary!

Pat has a tendency to disappear if I remember from previous visits. He knows where he is but you don’t, so therefore, he is lost.

Yes, Pat-vanishing is a time-honored amusement. He was slithering about the place with a math book.
