Hmm well again, never been involved in that.
Actually, I was in back of a police car once. Years ago as a teen, car broke down and officer kindly gave my future spouse and me a ride home on cold January night. Oh how times have changed :(

Let me say it this way, they should never put an arrested person or a detained handcuffed person, who was moments earlier directly involved in a shooting, into the back of a unit without a search. As far as the LEO knew, these two could have just committed a major crime and both could have been armed. It's been done before and even the kids in tow.
