Two British athletes born male are on the verge of making history by competing in women’s events at next month’s Olympic Games, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
If selected, the unnamed pair will become the world’s first transgender Olympians at Rio.
But worryingly for British sports fans, they have revealed they are so fearful of being exposed and ridiculed under the Olympic spotlight, they would ‘probably drop back’ if they found themselves in a medal-winning position.
Their inclusion in Team GB will be hailed as a remarkable human rights victory – but it will also ignite controversy, with critics arguing that male-to-female competitors have an unfair biological advantage in terms of size, muscle mass and lung capacity.

My mom tells stories of school where the girls took cooking and sewing and the boys took metal and wood shop. How far we have gone in the totally opposite direction, with no hope of the pendulum swinging to the middle.
Yep. You nailed it. The inevitable outcome of this cultural shift. There are hundreds of millions of dollars in endorsement deals at stake. All female athletes , gold medal winners, will have an Adam’s apple in 10 years.

This is what I don't get. Aside from the liberal hypocrisy side, why are women accepting this and not standing up en mass and fighting it? All of this transgender nonsense really affects only women. Men by and large don't give a crap if a woman uses their bathroom. Men aren't overly threatened by women in men's sports. It's women who are affected most. Where are the feminists? Where are the rank and file women? This is baffling to me.
making me feel ancient...as I took those wood and metal shop classes in jr high. Girl's classes were Home Economics I & II which included how to food shop, prepare a healthy menu as well as just cooking. High school offered print and auto shop even in some academic centered schools as were business classes. More focused shop classes were available in vocational high schools. Are there any Vocational schools left anywhere?

The feminists through their pushing of this abomination on the world have pretty much ended women’s sports. But then I wonder if most of the prominent feminists were maybe born male in the first place?
Your argument about men’s advantage is a central discussion topic at the link. Exactly the same argument that’s pooh-poohed when women want to be firefighters, police, and soldiers.
Also notice the incredible disconnect in the story. The competitors would pull up short to avoid ridicule if they won medals? So. If they do qualify but aren’t chosen bc they will, in effect, throw a race, imagine the s**tstorm.
Clearly, we need a transgender olympics. A “Very Special Olympics.”

Remember, liberals don’t have values — they have agendas. The “men are all brutes” narrative only applies to straight white men.
There is no liberal narrative for females being threatened by “trannie” men in their bathrooms (soon to be showers) much less being usurped in sports by same.
