I really need to set up a potato growing bin.

I forgot what fresh potatoes taste like.

The last few bags from the store have been bad.

I always smell them first but they go so fast.

Rotten taters are the worst!

Hi Greeneyes! I have a question for the gardening FReepers. I purchased tomato plants in a container. The cherry tomato plants look super healthy. However, the larger tomato style plants are presenting some issues. There are three almost ripe tomatoes that seem to either have a “rot” or “something eating it”. I would say “rot” because a section is dark/black and then a gaping, open hole occurs. Any advice is appreciated.

Plants are growing well. Still have some lettuce, arugula, and mache. And also pansies. The lilies are almost finished blooming, Finally, the four o’clocks are growing past their seed leaves! I can hardly wait to see what colors they are. The tomatoes are growing big and strong. I’m a happy camper.

Wishing you all a safe and happy Fourth of July!
