Centipedes never bothered me until I lived in Hawaii. Now I will kill each and every one I see.

I stomped on one while wearing flip flops once. The head came around and bit me on the toe. Hurt like crazy!

Especially ones wearing fifty pairs of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars!

The Jungle creatures were having their annual football game and time was running out, no timeouts left, and the last substitute was the centipede.

“Centipede, get in there”

Clock ticking and finally it runs out and everyone goes berserk..the winning team congratulating the ‘pede and the losing team trying to kill him.

“Where were you”?

“I was lacing up my shoes”

I looked up from my desk one day and saw one of those (don’t know if it was amphibious) crawling across the carpet in the next room. Another time an adder slithered through the sliding glass door that was left open. Our office is in the countryside, but usually it’s just scorpions :)

Must be deep South Texas? Big bugs are why I dislike warm climates.

What’s that red-headed centipede doing to that red-handled broom?

Here, here!! I’ll tolerate spiders and snakes but no way centipedes!!!!! The ones in my new house seem to be a bit furry but the shoe smashes them so fast I’m not sure!
