On Saturday, former Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo authored an article published at Breitbart News in which he deplored that the Obama regime last year quietly provided a new option to naturalized citizens in their taking of the oath of allegiance.
“Under the Obama administration’s expansive interpretation of executive authority, legal immigrants seeking citizenship through the nation’s Naturalization process are now exempt from a key part of the Oath of Allegiance,” Tancredo began his piece, noting in the next paragraph that new U.S. citizens are no longer required to “bear arms on behalf of the United States.”
As a spinoff to Tancredo’s article, Newsmax on Sunday published its own piece entitled, “Secret Order Allows Immigrants to Opt Out of Defending America.”
Tancredo argued that while Congress remained silent when the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made the “radical change” last July, termed “guidance” by the agency, it should have purview over the Oath of Allegiance and any changes that might be made.
Without any alternations, the oath reads:
“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law;

Yes, and only through a misapplication of the 14th amendment which never intended to grant citizenship to the children of Transient aliens.
The serious work for Obama’s presidential run didn’t begin until 2007. That is why his literary agent was allowed to list Obama as “born in Kenya,” from ‘91 to ‘07. Had there been any pre-planning at all, an error so basic and potentially devastating would never have been allowed to happen.
There were a lot of behind the scenes efforts for some time to eliminate the NBC requirement. That failed, so they had to clean up the “born in Kenya” embellishment. They liked it at some point since it added exotic allure. It was also a myth.
Oops - should have added, he was being groomed for president long before 2007, but as I said above, several attempts were made trying to remove the NBC clause or meaning. Since at least around 2000, info is on FR but I can’t remember details.
So the Manchurian masterminds added a *falsehood* to Obama’s resume, knowing it would DISQUALIFY him, on the off ***chance*** they could much later have the Constitutional requirements for POTUS changed?

Natural Born Citizen Act - Defines the constitutional term "natural born citizen," to establish eligibility for the Office of President, as: (1) any person born in, and subject to the jurisdiction of, the United States; and (2) any person born outside the United States who derives citizenship at birth from U.S. citizen parents, or who is adopted by the age of 18 by U.S. citizen parents who are otherwise eligible to transmit citizenship.

I covered that. There was zero reason to disqualify the supposed Manchurian candidate years before they even commenced efforts to change the Constitutional requirements. Not even idiots would approach the situation that way.

The answer doesn’t eat up a lot of time. Simply put, no one was prepping Obama for POTUS back in ‘91. Had they been, he’d not have been allowed to list himself as ‘born in Kenya.’ People serious about winning the WH don’t go out of their way to disqualify their own candidate. It’s simply too stupid a move to be made by anyone putting any real thought into running a Manchurian candidate.
