The nominee insists her mishandling of State Department email is no big dealbut the real drama is just beginning:
Suddenly things were aligning perfectly for Hillary Clinton in her quest for the presidency. After months of embarrassing inability to vanquish Senator Bernie Sanders, a 74-year-old socialist who represents a state with just two-tenths of a percent of the American population, she wrapped up her partys nomination for the White House. The Democratic convention in Philadelphia next month will be a formality, no matter how loudly Bernie Bros stomp their feet.
To cap that triumph last week, President Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton as their partys nominee for 2016. While this, too, was a formality, since Mr. Obama was eventually going to endorse herno matter how much bad blood lingers between them from the 2008 raceit was satisfying to her supporters, if perhaps overdue.

Great post! I agree, the FBI is in a serious bind-must do the right thing regardless!
There is no Constituional crisis because there is no Constitution.
We left that behind when we swore in a man who told us he was born a British subject.
Usurpation Day January 20, 2009 happened with the full cooperation of both parties and the entire judiciary.
They all know he is not eligible, but wanted to change the Constitution without the hassle of amending it.
Children of foreign nationals are NOT natural born citizens.
In 6 years, had he lived, Omar Mateen would have been just as eligible as Jindal, Cruz, Haley and Rubio.
:) well said
Just throwin this out there, but what are the chances the reason congress is stalling is to run out Obamas clock to issue a presidential pardon?
Regardless, if FBI is ready they should go for a grand jury hearing. Let’s see Loretta Lynch squirm!
Hilary had to have signed a DOD form 302 to operate a computer within the scale of the military or DOD. That form is a representation of training on what you can and cannot do on the lines. If the justice department does not press for the very obvious misuse to the point of possible espionage or treason because she was teaching her subordinates how to by-pass the security systems, then they are not doing the job. Maybe it’s time to sue the government and make sure it hits the papers.
If you are injured by a government agency, you may be able to sue under the Federal Tort Claims Act. Historically, under the doctrine of “sovereign immunity,” you were not permitted to sue the king. Sovereign immunity has carried over to modern times in the form of a general rule that you cannot sue the government — unless the government says you can. Fortunately, the Federal Tort Claims Act (”FTCA”) allows certain kinds of lawsuits against federal employees who are acting within the scope of their employment. And not doing their job to protect the US from high crimes and misdemeaners is one of them,
If you believe you may have a claim for negligence (careless conduct, or other wrongful or “tortious” conduct) against a federal agency or employee, you must first determine whether you can sue the federal government under the FTCA.
Although the limitations and exceptions are too numerous to review in this article, here are some general guidelines regarding the limitations on FTCA claims:
Only federal employees can be sued under the FTCA, not independent contractors hired by the federal government (unless they are treated like employees).
The negligent or wrongful conduct must have been done within the scope of the defendant’s employment.
In general, only claims of negligence — as opposed to intentional misconduct — are allowed (though some claims for intentional misconduct can be brought against certain federal law enforcement officers).
The claim must be based on — and permitted by — the law of the state in which the misconduct occurred.
Despite these and numerous other limitations on FTCA lawsuits, the federal government still pays out millions of dollars each year to compensate FTCA claims. Maybe it will get someones attention. And Ill bet I can find at least one hundred lawyers and a number of organizations that would like to get a piece of Uncle Sugar.
Maybe it’s time.

The DoJ controls the indictment. Obama can pardon her anytime he wants for any violations related to her server, emails, etc., even without an indictment.
Odds that Obama’s DoJ is stalling to prevent a Presidential pardon of Hlllary by Obama: 1 to 100 trillion against.
Odds that DoJ is stalling so that the election is over and Hillary is inaugurated before the whole truth oozes out?
100 trillion x speed of light squared to 1.
Those are just thumbnail estimates...
Spot on post. Comey will either resurrect the FBI’s reputation or complete its destruction.
I would guess that the destruction scenario would poll in the 80% to 90% range here at FR. a pretty cynical bunch. But I’m still hopeful if not confident that Comey will do the right thing.
Exactly! The ‘Cruz’ rules is still a very sore wound here. There will not be any need for further investigation. Nothing will be done. Mr. Comey might be a good man but it is unlikely he is made with the same fortitude the patriots of old owned. Men today seem to lack this vital ingredient.
The emailgate thing is nothing to get excited about.
She’s not indicted = full vindication in the media.
She’s indicted = she’s immediately replaced by a far more popular Democrat (basically any of them).
no obama can issue a paron whether she is indicted or not see NIXON
The part I kike best is that suing Hillary for not doing her job is sure to hit the news pages like gangbusters.
The FBI is not going to do anything. They are just biding time. Everyone wants a piece of the pie and Hillary is the Theif/Baker. She stole it and is buying off everyone including Obama. FBI was given their orders. Do nothing and after the election all will be forgotten. Many people are worried about a replacement for Hillary. Who cares. That is just smoke and mirrors.
My read is that Comey will recommend charges be filed. The indictment will have to come from a grand jury. It will be up to Loretta to either file charges or assign a special prosecutor.
Once the FBI had finished the investigations they will turn over the evidence to the DOJ.
We’’l have to continue to disagree on what’s forthcoming.
