TORRINGTON A video of a woman who was verbally assaulted while breastfeeding her baby in a Target store in Torrington is going viral.
Jessie Maher, who lives in Canton, posted the video Monday morning after she says she was verbally assaulted by an old man in Target for breastfeeding my baby. Maher filmed the entire incident.

And that is the magic word: discreetly.
Most women who breastfeed in public have enough sense to at least cover the feeding child with a towel or cloth.
The women in this video was “in your face” about it.
“PR stunt designed to redeem Target in the eyes of the public.”
You nailed it, Company Man.
I’d place this incident as a 95% likelihood that the entire scene was a set up by leftist fascist pukes to gain sympathy for and take pressure off the pervert CEO. Target stock is crashing and something had to be done to stop the bleeding.
I think you’ve responded to the wrong poster.
You’ve included the part to which I responded.
“That pig should cover up. ITs the law not to walk around topless...a reason why we wear bras/shirts. “
I would not go that far, but your sentiment is well understood. Here is an un-PC thought — have your husband do the shopping while you nurse the baby. /duck
“But .... this is the purpose of breasts.
I mean.. this is why they exist. “
The “purpose” of penis is also to do a few things. Should a man stick it out and do things in public? “This is why it exists!”
I’m not a fan of militant breast feeding, but seriously who would feed an infant in a bathroom? Yuck
There is a time and a place for everything. Breast feeding in public is not it. The verbal assault was too much but we don’t all think its a pleasurable sight.
Neither men nor women demand biological response at any given moment.
A baby does.
