Then the Paris massacre proves the need for less gun control.

Maybe 50 years ago, William S. Burroughs prophetically remarked that whenever there is some mass shooting by some crazy person, they always want to take the guns away from everyone who didn’t do it.

Has everyone forgotten the “suicide vest”?

Do we need fewer vests?

The problem isn’t what is in their hands.

The problem is what is in their brains and hearts.

If you’re coming for mine you’d better bring yours.

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that before. Did you originate it?

Blackbeard the pirate kept six one-shot pistols on his person and kept matches burning that were tied to his beard. He could touch off six shots quickly.

Scientific American is the absolute showplace for dummies who think they’re Einstein.

Similar to those pop psychologists who subscribe to Psychology Today for career advice.

Two paragraphs from the article:

1. The Action Network(u.n. crapola) lobbies for tighter national and international controls on the manufacture and trade of small arms, but the National Rifle Association has successfully blocked international as well as domestic gun control.

2. If the U.S. devoted as much effort to gun control as it does to countering terrorism, the world would be a much safer place.

1. Thank you NRA.

2. If the U.S. devoted as much effort to eradicating these terror cells as it does trying to infringe on our rights, the world would be a much safer place.

Also a comment from Brazil:

If the US allow this to arms control will make one of the biggest blunders of all its glorious history. I live in Brazil where leftists have created laws that totally disarmed citizens. Result: there are currently more than 56,000 Brazilians murdered each year, the vast majority with firearms and the law-abiding citizens are murdered without resistance any like sheep in the hands of wolves.

This vomit and drivel exemplifies the reason I quite reading Scientific American many years ago. It’s unscientific and anti-American.

Agreed. I stopped reading Scientific American a long time ago, way back when they stopped writing about science.

I noticed that comment from Brazil.

That comment needs to be required reading in every high school and college in America.

“The easy availability of guns poses a much greater threat to Americans than terrorism does”

They should change their name from “Scientific American” to “Crazed Writings Magazine”

Think the comprehension skill are up for it? Based on some of the man on the campus interviews I’ve seen, I got my doubts.

Many of them will scream for a safe space to protect them from such a painful idea, and yes, many of them probably can’t put enough cause and effect together in a single thought to make the concept of “totalitarians love gun control” comprehensible.

Nevertheless, I still believe it should be required reading.

Just like sonogram videos of babies in the womb should be required viewing.

Even if the little school-monsters scream bloody murder at having to face the truth.
