Is Particle Physics About to Crack Wide Open?

This is by far the most exciting thing that has happened in particle physics over the last three decades. If this hint of new physics is confirmed—something that could happen within just a few weeks, or possibly even within days—it is difficult to state the importance of such a discovery. It would be bigger than the detection of the Higgs boson, which was just confirmation of what was already known.

I’m looking for the breakthrough in Satirical Physics, the field of study favored by progressives.

In Satirical Physics, the universe is what you want it to be.

That collider? The United States already had one being dug in East Texas that was bigger and better. It was killed by Hillary Clinton so the Clinton administration could spend the money on more important things — social programs that would get them votes.

String theory being proven? The existence of an infinite number of alternate universes? That the universe pops in and out of existence? Some other stupid idea?

They must be wrong...after all, the Standard Model has an “overwhelming scientific consensus” behind it, right?

Well said, but in doing so they even fail to acknowledge the Creator. Who was it that said science was simply discovering the thoughts of our Creator?

OMG! They just acknowledged they did not know what they thought they knew. Any other surprises around the trillion-dollar corner?

I can pretty much guarantee that they’re working harder to disprove a creator. Proving a great and almighty God is the last thing they want.

My guess? Protons, neutrons and electrons are made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. That’s my guess.

So you're saying it's "turtles all the way down"?

Settled science just got unsettled -or- the Standard Model has fallen and can’t get up.

Can you imagine something like this being written about the AGW hoax-theory? Never in a million years. No amount of evidence to the contrary would ever be accepted, or even reported.

Maybe NASA is going to tell us about life on the moon again. Or water on Mars.

___________

Turtles all the way down! I love that one. Exactly as logical as “multiverse all the way down.” I say bring back the aether, and redo Mickelson-Morley.
