I never have much luck with any of those streaming services that embed commercial breaks. Crackle, Hulu, etc.
They will play about 1/2 of the program and then bog down after a commercial break and will not reload the content. When I exit out (have to reboot ROKU, sometimes) and try to move to the last location in the program, I get a dozen commercials.
The hassle isn’t worth the frustration for ‘free with commercials’ channels.
Netflix, Amazon Prime, and HBO GO do not seem to have that kind of problem.
Pay 4 bucks more a month for a commercial free Hulu.
I have a blue-ray disc player which has streaming services, my TV does as well, and Hulu sucks on them, but on my ROKU3 & streaming stick Hulu ran very fast, however, I didn’t like Hulu and cancelled
You are right
We are in the early stages of the TV evolution away from cable to the internet. Netflix seems to be the best. I somehow just didn’t get along with Hulu.
I am tempted by my trial on Amazon Prime but not yet certain
When Fox news offer a streaming service cable is out of here

Agree 100%. I tried Crackle one time, and basically it’s impossible to get it to play anything to completion. Crackle is essentially a scam and I don’t understand how they even stay in business since I don’t see why anyone would attempt to use their “service” after trying it the first time.
