Actually, not much of a bang as it has a multi-stage burner. Gets loud, but not the bang the old turbojets had like the F-8. Stood behind more than a few of them in my day.

Excuse me.....I was taking the hot air ballon tour of London by night and had some gas issues.....

I happened to be up and sitting in my living room when it hit the atmosphere. I didn’t see it directly, but my backyard and my neighbor’s house lit up like a fireball was over the neighborhood, just briefly. I swear, I thought a plane was going down. Ran outside, waiting for a boom, crash, sirens. Nothing. Then later I thought maybe I imagined it (sleep deprivation). LOL. Then I saw the news later...
The best actual sonic boom I experienced was a B-58. I was in the woods hunting. Saw just a glimpse as it went by, but being a geek I knew what it was.
Probably going after a Russian looking too close to London.
The articles I read mentioned that there was no fireball.
