Hey FREEPERS, I was looking for a good Netflix or Amazon prime free movie this W/E.
I was leaning toward Vanilla Sky (I know, everyone but me hates Tom Cruz).
Anyone else see anything decent?
“Muscle Shoals” and “The Wrecking Crew” for music lovers.
“Nightcrawler” if you hate paparazzi and the press.

Looks like it’ll either be Jurassic Park or Terminator again again again for me.
Not a movie, but “Chuck Norris vs Communism” on Netflix is a good peek behind the Iron Curtain in 1980’s Romania. It’s a documentary about how smuggled and dubbed 80’s movies made their way into Romania and how they were received by the people.
If you like drama the Homesman with Tommy Lee Jones and Hilary Swank is excellent.
Rush said the series “Person of Interest” is good.
I think it’s pretty good.
The Norwegian film, “The King of Devil Island” is also very good.

It’s a Tim Allen sitcom about a guy that runs an outdoor store much like Cabela’s called Outdoor Man, while raising a family of 3 daughters and a geologist wife. He’s very conservative in the show and he has a liberal son-in-law that he butts heads with almost every episode.
Really funny, better then Home Improvement in my opinion.
It was a one-time thing, but illustrated the types of people the Underwoods are.
This season, it is Claire’s almost live-in new hubby-biographer boyfriend.
“Nightcrawler” was a good movie but really, really creepy. Made my skin crawl.
Yeah, that reminds me I have a couple of episodes on my Tivo. I think this season is the last however.
Last man standing is a show that actually had me laughing out loud while watching it. Often.
Cannot wait until the next season!

The guy who played the photographer was good. I forget his name. It was weird seeing him play such a dirtbag. Not his usual gig.
Try Turner Classics. Try movies from the golden era of Hollywood or the beauty of foreign film. There is so much out there that is so much better than today’s dreck.
Rush has led me to more boring tv shows than I care to remember!
