Have you ever thought of combining your two favorite things? Of course you have. We all have. Otherwise, ingenious foods such as root beer floats or deep fried Oreos wouldnt exist.
But, what about combining wine and ice cream? Sounds amazing. But it also seems downright difficult, come to think of it.

Kahlua is good on ice cream. My favorite used to be amaretto liqueur on cookies and cream ice cream.
I am waiting for Ganja Ice-cream!
Tia Maria is my favorite liqueur to drizzle on ice-cream.
Do we freeze it? NO....NO...NO....NO....NO....Do we scoop it? NO....NO.....NO...NO...NO. Do we smoke it? YEAH YEAH YEAH!
How soon until cheap wine ice cream in a box? ;-)
My parents were huge Tia Maria fans!
So as I understand it, they copied this story from someone else and have now tried to copyright it for themselves. Oh! Those media guys.
Tia Maria- I don’t know that one... what is the flavor?
Actually a really dark burgundy or red port ice cream sounds really interesting.
They say you can put balsamic vinegar on ice cream as a topping (the expensive balsamic). It’s made from grapes. Never tried it.
I just never liked inhaling smoke! But if it is fatty and sweet, I will devour it. The best ice-cream ever was the hand churned mango ice-cream made from domestic buffalo milk which is very creamy. That was long ago growing up in India. You had to eat that ice-cream real fast because it was un-adulterated with fillers such as guar gum, and it melted real fast in hot Indian summers.
I hope I never, never find it. I'll be 400lbs lying in the gutter in a stupor.
It is similar to Kahlua but sweeter. For some reason it settled my stomach aches after indulging in all you can eat feasts in Surma’s, which was where our office always had parties for retiring colleagues in south Chicago burbs.
I’m a big fan of Grand Marnier in my ice cream.
There’s a leftist ice cream shop in my town that puts real booze in theirs; they do a Guinness one that is passable and workmanlike. .
Frangelico and Amaretto would be good too.
Outta here. I’m doing Atkins and this subject is making me crazy ;)
Port on vanilla is awesome!
I found Tia Maria on the rocks very helpful to soothe my stomach aches after over-eating in those fabulous Chicago restaurants.
I think I’ve seen wine-based ice cream before, but haven’t had it. I have had ice cream that combined chocolate and stout. Amazing.
I’m sitting here imagining what a big scoop of dark chocolate ice cream with about 2-3 oz. of creme de menthe would taste like. ....I’m guessing it will be good.
Try drizzling some Green Dragon over vanilla.

It is tincture of ganja.
