I’d probably avoid stocks in any companies dependent on imports or exports. At least until Trump rewrites all the trade deals.
It will take time to get genuine valuations in the market as the economy re gears itself to be real. It's also true there is the time bomb of the debt, the time bomb of the fed zero interest policy, so it's not a given the market will begin on the plus side. It could take a couple of years, as it did with Reagan, it really could.
That said, there are some new findings about rare earth elements in coal ash.

Look at the interval between recessions. The markets correct themselves ~ every 8 years......1983, 1992, 2000, 2008,......we’re due in 2016/17.....
Just saying. The Dems will blame it on Trump, but that we have market corrections is not the issue. The duration of the downturn is. Obama never was able to turn around the 2008 recession, so they just called it the “Great Recession” and blamed Obama’s incompetence on Bush. Trump will make sure any downturn is short and that the economy will rebound strongly. I expect 5%+ growth in the US under Trump partly because of pent up growth stifled by Obama, but also because of the Trump Admin.’s policies. The Wall and the death of Obamacare will get things going.....
Coal, energy, independent health insurance, real estate?
Military build up should mean military industries. Infrastructure and the wall should mean heavy construction.
