A Forney woman says a Ross department store in Mesquite let a man into the womens dressing room Monday.
"I was in the dressing room, when we heard a mans voice, said Lisa Stickles, who says she quickly told a manager.
"She went inside the dressing room, came right back out and called me to the side and told me 'he was representing himself as a woman today", Stickles said.

A few years ago, I complained to the Kohl’s in Leander, north of Austin, about a man in the women’s dressing room. They just stared at me like I’d sprouted a second head and did nothing. I’ve never set foot in there since.
I’ve also never set foot in the outlet mall stores south of Austin because they’ve had unisex dressing rooms for years.
When Texas secedes, we’re kicking out Austin. I absolutely despise Austin and avoid it like the plague. Can’t stand to drive down I35 through it.
We can thank 0bammy for this. hillary says she would continue in the same direction as 0bammy. Any woman who votes for hillary deserves a few unpleasant surprises in the bathroom.
Not this woman. Not those on FR. Not many of their friends so take that attitude and stuff it.
I wonder how much shopping revenue will be lost to accommodate these idiotic policies?
Can one just one of these stores show some common sense? No male should be allowed in female restrooms or dressing rooms.
Just say no-— scrooge them if they complain. The WW2 generation and previous wouldn’t put up with this pervy crap.
I just called TJMaxx company and they confirmed that they let anyone use whatever bathroom or changing room they 'feel' like using.
TJMaxx, Marshalls and Homegoods are all part of the same company. Good bye to them.
I think I'm going to call my local store and ask the manager if they are letting men into their bathrooms.
“What about common sense?”

I read a book some years ago called “The Death of Common Sense” by Philip Howard.
A great book, and more apropos now than it was then.

Austin is a geographical anomaly. It belongs in California or Washington.
Dallas isn’t much better.
I once asked my husband if he thought I was crazy and he said I had to be because no sane woman would live with him as long as I have.
You’re statement is very offensive and you sound like you hate women.
I feel sorry for any female you claim to know.
Yup. Have measuring tape and mouse. No worries about strange people in the dressing room at my house.
I think the overall consensus is that the pool of good Christian women is getting smaller and smaller.
Frog in the pot. They’ll keep turning up the heat. You won’t feel a thing until it’s too late.
(we’re men, we get all the blame anyway

If you are alone in the woods and say something and there is no woman around, are you still wrong?
The 19th Amendment started this country on a slide to the left...
Hear! Hear!.
“Can one just one of these stores show some common sense?”
No. Trump was fine with Bruce Jenner using any bathroom he wanted in his buildings. What, he doesn’t know if his women customers care about a man who claims to be a woman who is still attracted to women to use his women’s bathrooms? I don’t buy it. When he said that I started to suspect I might have really misjudged how far down the cultural downslope we actually are.

That’s the bottom line, although I would hazard that the pool of good people in general is shrinking. There’s a reason they are doing this now and not back in 1986.
