MARElyn Monroe
Tiny baby squirrel sleeping in a hand
Most beautiful horse in the world
Cuteness overload
My cat (like the Fancy Feast cat)
And just for the heck of it; some eye candy for the girls. Alain Delon, French actor. One handsome dude, eh girls? LOL
And finally, just a pic I took (total amateur) that I like: Gull on bay in front of my house on the bay at sunset
oh, that’s how they did it.
I wish I knew photo shopping. I’ve a picture I’d like with me photo shopped cuddled up with Donald. That would be so funny. :D
Caught an old Cary Grant movie the other day, the one where he is John Roby, the cat burglar. Truly, they do not make movies like that anymore, not enough ‘special effects’. *wink wink*
Oh, battles Royale...LOL
Thanks
Regards

To me, the greatest of all them all was Marilyn Monroe.
She just had that something called ‘IT’. She was liked by both men and women.
Although she was a sexpot, she had a vulnerability
about her- and innocence that was so appealing. (and I’m certainly NOT preferential to women, but I just loved her!)
When she was on the screen, you could not take your eyes off her. They’ve tried, but there will never produce another.
That’s what makes a star.
Your cat has a gorgeous tail!
thanks for the respite from the real world.
What a lovely way to look at it.
Hope the cat didn’t get in trouble for it!
Yes he did! Hope the parents don’t blame the cat.
That would be ‘To Catch a Thief’ with Grace Kelly made sometime in the mid-fifties, I think.
I read they put in some rather suggestive dialogue that was not in the script that almost didn’t get past the censors. :)
They needed nothing explicit in the Classic movies. The imagination is enough.
Sometimes I think if they made a movie with no dialogue and no plot, but just car chases, crashes, things blowing up and explicit sex scenes one right after another, they’d make a fortune.
But they can have those kind of movies. Not for me.
I seldom go to the movies anymore. I’d rather stay home and watch Turner Classic movies than go out to today’s movies. :)
There was a cool car in that movie, a Sunbeam Alpine convertible, 1955 model. A fair number of scenes were shot in and around it.
Me too!
That brat got his come comeuppance!
LOL
Great thread. Laughed so hard beer spurted out my nose.
Yes, she’s beautiful. She’s a Silver Persian Chinchilla, like the Fancy Feast cat on TV.
This breed has long, beautiful white fur tipped in silver and an ordinary cat face(not the ‘squashed in’ nose like a plain persian- whose faces I dislike) Chinchilla’s eyes are a beautiful blue or green and are lined in dark, like they were wearing eye liner.
They are very, very expensive and hard to find.
This one was given to me as a kitten, by an extended family member- thank goodness. I would never pay what they are changing for them now- $500- $600 up, or so I’ve heard.
.
Absolutely the best vanity I’ve seen in a long time!
The pigeon in the fifth picture is exhibiting male pigeon nesting behavior - presenting nest-pieces, which the female would put together to make the nest - if the recipient WERE a female pidge :-)

LOL! that’s our cat Jimmy’s OTHER name. Have to get him down from the highest bookshelf, at least once per day :-)

Think Gregory Peck. (swoon....)
Some of it was filmed in the same area where Grace Kelly went off the mountain road and was killed.
They said it was a stroke that caused her to go off the road.
Although she chose to give up Hollywood and become a princess, it was reported she didn’t find that life too happy- and none of her children turned out too well -especially the girl who was wild and married many ‘jerks’.
Yes, I had 4, all purebreds and papered (not that I care, but they did look like the breed is supposed to) ;) They are super beautiful and have the sweetest dispositions.
Here’s my tribute to my sweetest one that died of kidney failure:

Yeh, bet that kid doesn’t mess with that cat much any more.
Can’t much blame the cat much for not sitting there and letting himself be slapped by the kid.
