Believe it when I see it. “Clerks 3” was supposed to be released soon. Now it’s been kicked to 2018.

There’s been a lot of talk over the years of a BB TV show. Could be great if it happens though.

Will they get whatshisname to wear that ridiculous cowboy outfit?
This has the potential to be hilarious, cringe-worthy, great, terrible, maybe all at the same time.
I might actually watch something on TV again.

I saw that the original movie is coming out on Blu-ray. I have not pre-ordered it because I wonder if the movie will seem as cool as I thought it was back in the mid-80’s?

The original movie implied a whole lot of adventures, so I could see this working. They just need to go heavy camp.

Perfect Tommy: Emilio Lizardo. Wasn’t he on TV once?
Buckaroo Banzai: You’re thinking of Mr. Wizard.
Reno: Emilio Lizardo is a top scientist, dummkopf.
Perfect Tommy: So was Mr. Wizard.

Mission Control: Buckaroo, The White House wants to know is everything ok with the alien space craft from Planet 10 or should we just go ahead and destroy Russia?
Buckaroo Banzai: Tell him yes on one and no on two.
Mission Control: Which one was yes, go ahead and destroy Russia... or number 2?

This may be hilarious, or it may be cringe-worthy. Hard to say at this point.
The original movie required you to check any rationality at the door, but once you did that it was really entertaining.
I especially liked the names of the bad guys that snuck onto earth under the disguise of the War of the Worlds broadcast:
John Bigboote
John Smallberries
John Yaya
