Wilmette police confirm O'Connor went on a bike ride Sunday at 6 a.m. and did not return.
Earlier this month, Arsenio Hall filed a $5 million defamation lawsuit against O'Connor for claiming that the comedian supplied drugs to Prince.
The lawsuit calls O'Connor's accusations "despicable, fabricated lies" and adds that "O'Connor is now known perhaps as much for her bizarre, unhinged Internet rants as for her music."
O'Connor, whose biggest hit was a 1990 reworking of the Prince song "Nothing Compares 2 U," posted on her Facebook page about a week after Prince's death that he was a "long time hard drug user."
"Two words for the DEA investigating where prince got his drugs over the decades.... Arsenio Hall," O'Connor posted on May 2.
She added: "Arsenio I've reported you to the Carver County Sherrif's office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie murphy's house."

I was surprised to read that she has four children.
Some people will breed with just about anything I suppose.
Singer Sinead O'Connor is missing in Chicago's north suburbs. Most of us know where Chicago is, but Wilmette, not so much.
Yep, and one of Prince's throwaways at that.
Agreed, Prince wrote a great song and she sang it well - to bad about the mental illness stuff - probably effected both of them.
Thank you for posting that, I was thinking she was lost in Oregon. Forgot about the Chicago burb.
She was in trouble in Ireland just a couple of months ago. Fighting with her children and her children’s father and threatening suicide on FB. Unfortunately, she’s as mad as a hatter, poor thing, but has enough money and power that she isn’t forced to deal with it.
A vile creature indeed. She should have been committed years ago, but then again, she was soooooo fitting into the progressive female meme.
However, I do hope she can be found alive.
And then have the progressivism exorcised from her.
From the Gospel according to Luke:
27 But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. 29 Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your coat, do not withhold your shirt from him either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. 31 Treat others the same way you want them to treat you. 32 If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount. 35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
i sure as hell don’t miss her...
That would be Willamette, not Willmette.
What a difference an A makes...
If O’Connor’s music is dedicated to Satan, and if it partakes in the demonic practice of black magic, then by all means it should have been burned. This, however, should have been an action independent of O’Connor’s treatment of the photograph.
As regards the latter, Jesus said the days of an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth are over. He also also of those who crucified him, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Would you accuse Jesus of condoning their sins?
He also also = He also said
Wilmette, Illinois is a north suburb of Chicago.
That’s where she went missing.
Joe Pesci did that? Bravo and kudos to him.
And he’s a funny guy too!
Yes, I know.
What evidence do you need that something is Satanic? Does it need a certification card that states how and when it was dedicated to Satan? If a woman is a professing lesbian singing about the glories of being a lesbian is that not the same?
I used to listen to Heavy Metal. When I figured out what kinds of things were being said must I keep listening? Must I sell the CD's so as not to help the bands because that would be going the extra mile.
What other lesbian-created lesbian-glorifying music did Law burn? What other Satanic bands did he target?
DM, picture this scenario. What if Cardinal Law had called together as many Christians as he could muster—but not for the purpose of burning O’Connor’s music, photos, etc. What if they had prayed for her instead?
First, that would have been obedience to a direct command of Christ. So far, so good.
Second, it would NOT condone O’Connor’s sin. Following Jesus’ example, they would have prayed for her forgiveness. The innocent don’t need forgiveness; the guilty do.
Finally, they’d have prayed that she be blessed. What greater blessing is there than receiving grace, mercy and salvation from God? Imagine hundreds, maybe even thousands, praying for true grace to work a miracle in O’Connor’s life. Wow.
If I sinned, and people gathered together to burn anything of mine they could get their hands on, I’d feel alienated and, to be honest, hated.
If, however, I sinned, and people gathered to pray for me, and prayed that I could be forgiven and blessed...well that would give me something to think about. Something that might eventually lead me to reconciliation with God.
Well, she is not that bright, so let’s give her a few days and see if she finds her way back home.
This is interesting, Dungeon Master and Fantasywriter. :-)
This suggestion is a whole different topic, election vs freewill. Do you think that if Christians have giant prayer meetings people that will force more people to get saved? Personally I believe in election but that's a whole different, huge and often contentious topic.
If I sinned, and people gathered together to burn anything of mine they could get their hands on, Id feel alienated and, to be honest, hated.
I believe people burned their own things now hers and the things she produces, being music, where not innocent. I've listened to a lot of music and there are always messages.
