Roogned Odor (Pronounced O'Door) nearly knocks Jose Bsutista out after Bautista ries to give Odor a career ending knee injury
Nice!
The late slide. The low throw is how they used to teach whoever is covering 2nd on the double play to protect themselves from late slides, the guy better be ducking if he wants to break up a play that bad or he will have re-arranged face.
This whole problem comes from the MLB policy of issuing warnings, in a stupid attempt to protect players worth millions and million in contract money. So instead of another pitcher being able to retaliate, it pressures a team to stick someone first. In the Ranger’s case they waited until the last Bautista at bat in the last regular season series with the Jays this season.

Bautista made an illegal slide that can cause serious injury to the middle infielder. He didn’t start the slide until he was on top of the bag, well after he was already out. You can’t do the Ty Cobb thing anymore
True Roogie is a bit of a hot head but so is Bautista
DOWN GOES BAUTISTA!!!! DOWN GOES BAUTISTA!!! DOWN GOES BAUTISTA!!!
I especially loved the Rangers fans chanting ‘U-S-A!!! U-S-A!!!!”
Bautista: ‘Ha! You own me a new pair of sunglasses!’
For 140 years second-basemen have protected their knees by low-bridging incoming baserunners, and no suspensions ever have been or will be issued because of this well-known deterrent. In fact, an easy prediction is that no Toronto baserunner will come barreling into second against the Rangers anytime soon, because the Rangers will find opportunities to teach a few "lessons." And if I were Bautista in an upcoming lopsided game, I wouldn't dig in in the batter's box. Those are hardballs.
Very stupid.
You NEVER hit a guy with your pitching hand!
All that’s missing is the Batman “POW!” graphic afterwards.
Pollocks ain’t foreigners! We talking little brown people from who the hell knows where. They’re supposed to be running up and down a field kicking a big ball into some stupid net somewhere.
I haven’t seen the whole replay, was it Bautista or Odor who first got in the other’s face after the play?

And who can’t pronounce Red Schoendienst and Harvey Kuenn?
Odor clocks Bautista who slid behind 2nd base trying to take out Odor’s knee.
Baseball has some truly poetical names. Some of My recent favourites are Plácido Polanco and Jedd Gyorko. That’s like something out of Star Wars.

Although not widely reported, Bautista quietly remarked, “No Mas”, shortly after eating Odor’s knuckle sandwich.
I just saw an MLB network crawler blurb that said Odor is going on the 15 day DL.
Massive abrasion on the knuckles of his right hand from Bautista’s beard.
