Nothing new in an hour?
I’ve heard that trail is getting to be as dangerous as hiking from Louisiana back up north along the Mississippi River a few hundred years ago.
Dan Rather tied himself to a tree to report “live” during a hurricane. Or was it a stop sign? And I think Geraldo did it, too.
Must have been BIGFOOT
EMT may not have had a camera, left her tied so that the type of knots used could be documented, just in case it is a crime scene.
I’d imagine they got a bad reaction when they told here “We’re sorry, ma’am, you’re just going to have to stay tied to that tree. This is a crime scene.”
If she was tied with something like rope then they could have cut the rope and left the knots intact for investigators. If she was “tied” with duct tape or similar they might have thought fingerprints was a possibility.
Not sure why they left her tied up, just thinking out loud...
LOL
Or if it were me, I would be ever so grateful to be found before the bears eat me.
Or she was tied with grape vine or kudzu and they did not have pruning snips on hand.
She is not deceased at this time. She’s tied to a tree...
May be the EMT called in as soon as they found her, sounds like she was not is good condition and I would guess they would check for any injuries made worse by immediately cutting her loose. It was probably only a couple of minutes until they had her loose.
Possible understatement. Did a Good deed for a homeless guy who needed to get to a hospital some years ago. He was so ripe, my brand new Camry smelled terrible for close to a year before the last vestiges stopped popping up. Had it cleaned/sanitized and put air fresheners in with the cabin filter to try to get rid of/mask it. Almost got rid of the car because of it.
Bernie supporter?
24 degrees on top of Mt. Mitchell this morning which is a few miles north and maybe 1000’ higher in elevation from the Craggy area where this woman was found.
It’s a rare thru-hiker who is not solo much of the time.
How close to Asheville? That town is all about lesbians. Tattooed lesbians. Every woman is lesbian, and also some of the men. Starting to hate the place—
“He was so ripe, my brand new Camry smelled terrible for close to a year before the last vestiges stopped popping up.”
LOL! I had the same thing happen to my very old Camry when I picked up two guys needing a ride. The stench lingered forever it seemed. Nothing else smells like the funk of human BO caused by not bathing for months and months.
Not even a titter? Sheesh. Tough crowd.
Mnunghth.
Sorry to hear that., and taste it.
No good deed ever goes unpunished, I’m afraid.
Gave a homeless guy £5 and the following day broke at least four Ribs.
It appears that someone gets ‘annoyed’.
Sorry, no idea.
But your question is very ,shall we say , informative of the case. :)
Mine!
