Mrs Briley (whose half inflated infant life jacket was cut from her because of her injuries,) was flown to hospital.

Not only do you feel the need to contradict the NTSB's lengthy investigation without any evidence, but you're fast and foot-loose enough so as to pretend you know the why of other people's thinking and motives, using that word... as if you knew... "because."

There's no evidence Marilyn Briley had on an infant life jacket beyond your sucking it out of your thumb. FH's saying he put life jackets on the older couple (which would have had to been directed at the Brileys since FH was himself already 70 years old), was shown to have "mis-rembered" that too, as neither Marilyn nor Bruce were wearing life jackets out of the cabin nor for many minutes thereafter.

There's Marilyn with no life jacket. (And Fuddy's there in the window doing something in Jake's seat of all places!)

...and there's Bruce, just beyond the pilot, sandy blonde hair to the left, floating on his back, carrying his life jacket, still in its plastic bag, at his chest? Maybe both he and FH were having trouble getting it open, eh?

Oops!   Say, now... what would that be just to the left of Bruce, behind his head?

And as far as wearing an infant life jacket, it needs to be said that Marilyn was wearing what gets the prize as the most Adult Life Jacket out there!

Somehow that nicely-arrayed NTSB picture of life jackets missed one, eh?

lol. Yes, it looks VERY adult!

I wonder how she explains that one to her kids...

The posters here have studiously avoided that piece of evidence, I’ve noticed.

It's a suitcase. Pardon me for assuming it came from the luggage compartment which was damaged/destroyed on impact and released it's various contents, some of which ended up floating about and washed up against the side of the fuselage, later.

You might consider keeping a more civil tongue in your mouth. We aren't doing anything but saving you from making a fool of yourself with dummies and submarines, for goodness sake.

As for Marilyn Briley 'wearing' a life-vest in that underwater shot, she's not wearing anything, she looks like it's wound around her thighs, it's way under the waterline.

I think what might need to be done, is someone in the US notify the relevant authorities there appears to have been an identification mistake of the two women who looked so much alike that their life-vests were incorrectly labelled, and let them decide if they wish to make corrections.

Or we will be here forever, wasting our time.
