I’ve lost 24 lbs eating about 70% of my calories as fat. Only about five percent carbs
What do you eat the contributes that much fat to your diet? Is it all bacon all the time?
I’ve lost about ten pounds just by keeping my carbs under 100 grams per day. I’m usually between 60 and 70 percent calories from fat. I also eat lots of protein. Lots of eggs, cheese and nuts. Fatty cuts of meat including chicken always with the skin on. Butter on everything. Whole avacados. Heavy cream in my coffee and lots of it. Bacon, sausage, etc.
I've lost as much as 50 pounds doing that and never felt better---until the 90% blockage in my left descending artery (widowmaker) gave new meaning to the words chest pain.
Having said that, I think the artery disease is genetic--but can't afford to be wrong and go back to ketogenic diet.
