after seeing all the vitriol being posted this afternoon in response to Cruz’s announcement of Carly as his running-mate, I will be truly glad and relieved once the convention is over regardless of who wins. I still believe Cruz could prevail against Hillary in November, and I even more firmly believe that Trump would lose to Hillary in November. If Trump gets the nomination, I will vote for the Libertarian candidate for president and vote straight republican down the rest of the ticket and hope that Trump doesn’t take most of the downticket GOP candidates down the drain with him.

Even if Trump were to somehow prevail in November, the supreme court is almost certain to left as the best we can hope for from him is mediocre appointees and more likely he would appoint longtime liberal activist judges that he has bought and sold over the years.

while I was still hoping for Cruz, I think Trump will be our nominee and I will vote for him. My feeling is that at least with him I have some hope - not a lot, but some....with Hillary I have none at all. We all know for certain the SC nominee will be a raging liberal - maybe even worse than anyone barry could appoint - with trump at least we might get someone middle of the road.

But unlike some here, I respect your right to vote as you feel.....
