I think Hillary will announce right before the Democrat convention that she is choosing Elizabeth Warren as her VP so that in her mind it will wrap the female vote. If she does that Trump will have to snag Cruz as VP or Trump will lose to the witch of all witches.....IMHO

How many of these states will actually be in play in November?Pennsylvania, but only if Trump is the nominee. Cruz is toxic in the northeast and not particulary strong in the south. Only Trump can dominate the south and the rust belt, flipping Florida, New Hampshire, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
If he holds all of Romney's states that's enough to win against Clinton 277-261.

No way he takes Cruz.Agreed. Cruz couldn't even crack 50% in his home state, which is a safe GOP win in any case. Of the losers his most likely picks are Rubio or Kasich, but I don't think he'll choose any of his defeated rivals.
