There's a bunch of videos on youtube predicting the collapse to happen on 28 May 2016. While I am expecting a collapse and am willing to believe it could happen this year, I cannot learn from any of these videos as to why that specific date.
This doesn’t also happen to include some big comet swooshing by and drinking cyanide-laced Kool-Aid, does it?
Don’t forget the Y2K mega-meltdown. These predictions have ALL slid quietly into the past without apology.
Things will doom when Jesus says so.
collapse against what? yen? euro? ruble? yuan? pork bellies?
btw, TP lasts at least 16 years if stored properly:)
It does seem to me that God is calling many of us to listen closely to Him - possibly more so than during more normal times.
some people think that writing off is something that makes you money or something. All it does is take money that is owed to you and now you consider it unrecoverable. It’s is no longer carried as a liability to your company.
Cosmo Kramer thought so!! /Seinfeld
It’s my friends birthday. Seems like a good pick.
And, the 28th is a Saturday. So, we can go out and buy stuff with our dollars on payday and relax all weekend. But, then again if the dollar crashes every day will be a weekend.
Sure why not?
correct
"They" were predicting a 'for certain' collapse after October last year when the stock market dived. I was considering pulling money out of the market but remembered how it recovered after 2008. Well, it's less than a half year and the stocks recovered. Glad I left my money in. (Not all my eggs are in one basket... just in case.) I'm trying to use up old supplies that are expired, kept around... just in case.
Rumor. One starts it and everyone else just repeats it. Welcome to youtube.
I was working for a major network broadcaster during the Y2K period. Let me tell you, if we hadn’t done anything to correct the problems, it could have crippled our Corp. We examined every single electronic box in our entire system and replaced hundreds of “faulty” components from studio to mobile to transmitter to satellite to cable. It was a massive and expensive replacement project. At the end of it, when the ball fell in Times Square....NOTHING happened to us. But it took big bucks, two years, and the hard work of hundreds of people to say that.
Sounds like you made good bucks during that “emergency refit”.
You mean overtime? Overtime for managers? Sorry, no. Our engineers and techs did, however.
I seriously doubt that the Y2K problem was dangerous. Bear in mind that I am an embedded engineer who designs electronics and writes software for all kinds of apparatus. I know of absolutely NO instance of any serious problems. The worst that could happen would be whacked out display of dates and peculiar sort orders.
