I have a new computer, on which I'm running Windows 10 and using Firefox version 45.0.2 as my browser. My FR account is set to "convenient," which is supposed to mean that I remain logged on even when I close my browser. But I keep finding that I'm logged when I close and later reopen Firefox. I don't have this problem on my other computers or my smartphone, so I'm thinking this is a Windows 10 or Firefox issue.
Any ides as to what Firefox or Windows settings I need to adjust?
Thanks.
Are you a Cruzer?
Probably Firefox.
Make sure you’re not deleting cookies and history everytime you log out. Should be in privacy settings.
You might try changing the settings when you log in. If you choose convenient or something like that) it should leave you logged in until you manually log out. Alternatively. Like the donate button; enter any number followed by a minimum of 6 zeroes and the mods will make sure you stay logged in.
Browser could set to erase ‘cookies’ when it closes.
Probably under Tools >> Options >> Privacy
Are you saying only Strumpets stay logged in? What if you aren't committed to either, you can't even view?
I just checked that. I’m not deleting cookies, and even have a few FR cookies stored in my list.
It’s a joke, a joke I say there.....
The only thing I know of that can cause that is if you have custom privacy settings on FF that delete cookies every tie you close it. To check click on the “hamburger” icon at top right. Click “Options” the select the privacy tab. At the pull down menu for history if “Use custom settings for history” is selected the click settings and see if FF is set to auto-delete all cookies when closed. If it is uncheck it. Also if you use software such as Advanced System Care or IObit Malware pro check setting in there that can auto deleting your cookies.
My iPhone started doing that after an iOS update. Good thing I remember my password, lol.
Hey I’m sorry, I meant to put a smiley face at the end of the post but my dog distracted me, when a 150# dog tries to climb in your lap it’s hard to stay focused.
Its possible someone flagged you for abuse or the admins wanted to check your account. It happens (both to Cruz supporters and Trump supporters). Happened to me this AM as well.
Let me get the rumor mill started right now: it’s the beginning of the Cruzer purge. Which is long overdue. Cruzers’ BS has finally pushed JR’s enormous patience to its limit.
It’s your cookie setting.
Did you check to see if you had FR cookies BEFORE you logged back in?
Are you using Firefox’s Incognito, or Private Browsing? That deletes the cookies/history as well? It can either be that, or the settings in Privacy
LOL, good one.
