She did have a ‘proper’ job of sorts. $300K/year at a University Hospital (when her hubby became elected for something).
IIRC, her job was to ‘persuade’ disadvantaged patients from availing themselves of the care requirements (cost) that would be put on the University Hospital if they kept coming there. IOW, go to County General, St. Elsewhere, anywhere but here, dammit!
