For five days in Palm Springs, Arwa Mahdawi entered an alternate reality where gay women celebrate each other with pool parties, dancing and debauchery
Every year at the end of March, 20,000 lesbians from around the world fly into the Californian desert for five days of debauchery, and I’m one of them. It’s my second time at the Dinah, also known as the largest girl festival in the world. I’m staying at the Hilton in Palm Springs, which is hosting the famous Dinah pool parties, and the hotel feels like a homosexual harem.
It’s a surreal experience: for a few days the world is turned upside down, the minority is suddenly the majority. Everywhere you look, lesbians are smiling, drinking, dancing, kissing. There are a few men around – staff working the event and guys who have been dragged along by lesbian friends – but they are hard to spot. It’s basically entirely queer women in attendance.
The party is named after the Dinah Shore golf tournament, started in 1972 by the eponymous entertainer. Dinah Shore wasn’t a lesbian (she’d be doing somersaults in her grave if she knew what her moniker was attached to now), but golf seems to attract a lot of lesbians. Well I always heard that lesbians like tacos.
Funny how the LGBT community invented terms to skirt around the word and associations regarding sex.
For example, we used to call these people “HomoSEXual”.
They didn't like the sexual association so they changed it to “Gay”, there, that sounds a whole lot better right?
Then, the LGBT community created the term “Straight” instead of the old term, “Normal”. Well, we can't use the word “Normal” anymore because that implies some kind of “Abnormal” behavior on their part.
Then the LGBT community created the term “Homophobe” to be used as a term like “Racist”. This term is solely designed to shut down the open discussion about Gay sex and put the heterosexual on the defensive. Well, it is not “deviant” to be Gay but now it is “Homophobic” if we differ with their opinions and lifestyles.
Terminology, like PC is key to their war on traditional values. The tables have been reversed.
The “Straight” community is the new abnormal, deviant and oh, so closed minded.

I don't do any of that PC crap. I call a spade a spade and I call lesbians what they are: Abnormal queers.
If you don’t come out of the closet and admit your gay or some such other nonsense your just not normal anymore, very sad.
Don’t know why you posted a pic of that in your #14 as not one if these lesbians will be in any kitchen to baste any turkeys or steaks. There are chefs there to perform those mundane cooking tasks.
All the lesbians and queer guys need to remain in their closets so we don’t have to even see them.
