You have the Republicans, Democrats, reporters, corporations and the establishment and part of a billion in super pacs all running negative adds or talking like he is Satan.
All the talk show hosts are calling him Satan.
Lots of old guard protecting their stuff going on, so of course right now he has negatives, but that can change. Trump unlike Cruz has a personality and he can recover, whereas Cruz and Clinton can’t grow a personality.
Trump did not "attack" Cruz's wife. Media lie.
Trump threatened to "spill the beans." That is considerably different from attacking Mrs. Cruz.
Another media lie: It was the media who called the retweeted photo of Heidi Cruze "unflattering." There was nothing unflattering about that photo, and Trump wasn't saying anything negative about Heidi Cruz. Trump was simply saying that Trump finds his own wife more attractive than Heidi Cruz. As he should. Every husband should find their wife more attractive than another man's wife. Again, it was the MEDIA who labelled that photo as being "unflattering" to Heidi. Not Trump.

So, even as a Cruz supporter, I do not find these results indicating anything.
It is entirely due to those who conduct the polls. Ignore the polls. Vote according to your own decision. The lemming approach is for those who believe media we already know can't be trusted.
This is due to his comment about punishing women who have abortions. It just doesn’t go over well with a large majority of the female population and even a number of Democrat male crossover voters.

This AP poll is the height of establishment propaganda. And it's no wonder Trump's negatives are up in the face of this relentless and unprecedented campaign of character assassination against Donald Trump from the Left/Media/Establishment/GOPe.

What they don't mention in the way of context is that Hillary's negatives are terrible as well, and that's in spite of all the Left/Mass Media cheerleading for her.
Hillary's negatives will only go up. Trump's will only go down.
A lot can change in 7 months, and it will once the party unifies, instead of its elite elements constantly attacking the party's frontrunner in the most transparently slanted way because they're terrified at the prospect of losing their corrupt hold on power and graft.

No doubt the stop Trump movement is having an effect with tens of millions of dollars being used by various Rep PACs to flood the media market with the anti-Trump message.
