Why do they hate Ted Cruz so much? Well, yeah, partly it's because he's conservative. But why hate that? It's more than that. It's threatening. And I'm just gonna tell you: In the case of Ted Cruz, every damned one of these people knows full well that they're not in his league in terms of IQ, in terms of intelligence, in terms of talent and ability. They can't compete with him. So they ignore him. They pretend he's not there. When they do have him on to interview him, they usually resort to tactics of intimidation or putting him down or snark or some such thing to try to mask his intellectual superiority over them.
They can't keep up. They despise him. He's a threat in that regard. You combine the kind of raw, native intelligence Cruz has with his heartfelt conservatism, and you have personified what the left fears the most. Therefore what they hate, what they despise. They know they'll never be able to corral Cruz. They'll never be able to control him. They will never be able to impugn him intellectually. So they go after him in other ways. They compare him to a preacher who doesn't give the money back. They compare him to somebody has no happiness.

Does Rush listen to the same guy talk that I do? All I hear is about 2,000 words and no real plans. Then when he does mention a plan that has any substance, it’s either a) a bad plan that we’ve already been doing forever that isn’t working or b) a plan that he has to then “clarify” because he subjugates himself to the liberal media, like how “patrol and secure” Muslims took exactly less than one day to morph into “patrol and secure” Christians, too. All of this is of course in between saying “Donald Trump” every third word in the hope’s he’ll get picked up in the media.

I used to like Cruz, but since the primaries started, I just get this Tricky Dick Nixon feeling about him.
Who are you kidding? The establishment is deathly afraid of Ted Cruz? Then why are they endorsing him and funding his campaign? If they were afraid of Cruz, they would be endorsing Donald Trump, praising him to the skies, and getting down on their knees and thanking him.
I like Trump. I got no problem with Ted. But Ted has to beat Trump. If Trump wins. I am for Trump. No reason to vote for a perfect loser.
Rush is living in a delusional la-la-land, completely ignoring the historical fact that immediately after graduating from Harvard, Ted Cruz was politically groomed by the Establishment with the exception of 1 year in which he worked in the private sector. So from 1995 to today, Cruz has had less private sector experience than Obama. Just the facts please, just the facts.
