Does Rush listen to the same guy talk that I do? All I hear is about 2,000 words and no real plans. Then when he does mention a plan that has any substance, it’s either a) a bad plan that we’ve already been doing forever that isn’t working or b) a plan that he has to then “clarify” because he subjugates himself to the liberal media, like how “patrol and secure” Muslims took exactly less than one day to morph into “patrol and secure” Christians, too. All of this is of course in between saying “Donald Trump” every third word in the hope’s he’ll get picked up in the media.

Sounds like Rush is downright smitten, which might explain him being so far off on this “fear” thing.

I used to like Cruz, but since the primaries started, I just get this Tricky Dick Nixon feeling about him.
Who are you kidding? The establishment is deathly afraid of Ted Cruz? Then why are they endorsing him and funding his campaign? If they were afraid of Cruz, they would be endorsing Donald Trump, praising him to the skies, and getting down on their knees and thanking him.
Rush is living in a delusional la-la-land, completely ignoring the historical fact that immediately after graduating from Harvard, Ted Cruz was politically groomed by the Establishment with the exception of 1 year in which he worked in the private sector. So from 1995 to today, Cruz has had less private sector experience than Obama. Just the facts please, just the facts.

Sorry, Rush, but if Ted were the same guy, only less intelligent—they’d treat him the same way.
He is far less of an outsider than he lets on to be, but still, the Establishment is merely using him this point to try to derail Trump and slip their own guy in.
They have absolutely no intention of have Cruz be their nominee.
And yes, Cruz is knowingly letting them use him.
Until recently, I would agree that the GOPe is afraid of Cruz. But the recent endorsements by Romney and Yeb! have led me to believe his is trying to come in from the cold and that his real problem is that he does not know how to be friends with people. He should have stayed in the Senate.
Cruz isn’t even especially smart. Otherwise why would he do consistently stupid things?
Cruz at the core is an establishment Country Clubber like Rush. They are yesterday's news.
